allright home, so i got this as ss : https://gyazo.com/b800f92b50d7143d6f4499ea787bef34 the history of the hats is hard to track as the guy sold the unusuals somewhat and i cant find em, but https://gyazo.com/fc6027a4e2068615c3a0117088bf4d4e these are the effects, calling the ballon taunt 80k-90k seller unsold 1 month, calling it about 85 keys for taunt, oblooretaor taunt priced at 22 and stays that way and coldkiller capped at 36

so 36 + 85 + 22 = 143 keys, and we cant go with a range thats 140k-300k, so i would call this a outliner since the guy traded to was the owner or a friends hat / alt account, i asked him what he wanted for it and he said the amount that i paid him and thats was about 140 keys ish, so i would use this sale and call it a outliner

is it okay if i don't open a new thread for that and we just use this as an outlier from here?

Sale 3 was bulk, could make a range with this sale + sale 1?

Erm i dont see why it shouldnt be counted though....the other hats are all Updated prices...its not That bulky a deal to price. Its a simple downgrade of a bigger hat into 2 hats and pure... and thats already in the range of the sale 1 and 2 as well

My only question is should a 140 sale count after what JTrade just mentioned regarding the same

less than 50% ==> unusable/bulk; rest doesn't matter

Hmm i don't know. JTrade does say that the 125 seems like an outlier....or 140 as he would call it. but the 165-290 range also makes some sense to me. Specially when the price i bought it at does support the same. thats actually 3 sales in the 165-290 range. The hat is a 1/1. I don't see why 3 sales arent enough for the price to suffice as there are not any other of the same to change the price in the market anyways

I dont see why 125 would be the outlier when 125 and 165 are actually close together, as opposed to the high end sale here. Outliers are determined by their deviation from the mean, and from the 3 sales mentioned here, the ~290 sale would have been the obvious outlier.

However, since more sales occurred, sales are now:

<100 (probably around 80-90, he bought a phono for keys afterwards, thats what the 290 dude resold for)

- 125

-165 (mohawk was updated)

~240 (the falkirk is now 60 keys lower than you valued it; assuming the 135 in items are actually 135 which I did not count myself)

- 275 (law sale)

The bulksale for the vive isnt usable at all.

Note that on that last sale (see below in comments), the histories dont match. SInce it doesnt show up on prem search anymore it may very well be in a private bp now, but we can't know for sure.

Sales now range between ~80 and ~275.

- The 240 sale probably shouldnt be taken into consideration seeing how the buyer there instantly dumped it for ~30% of what he paid

- The ~80 sale as per my statement above shouldn't be taken into consideration either

With sales at 125, 165 and 275 left, it is pretty obvious in my eyes which sale should be the outlier - realisticly speaking - especially since Im fairly sure it only sold that high because of this open suggestion. technically 125-165 could work unless somehow the taunt sale from below can be confirmed (though honestly that's just someone dumping taunts), in which case the sales are simply too far apart here to make this work.

As such, this is best left unpriced for now.
