2 buy orders at 34.44, (as of now) 22 buy orders at 34.33
Secondary proof and conclusion
Marketplace price has gone up from 1.85 to 1.9
SCM is useless as always, ignoring
The majority of buyers and sellers are at 34.33-34.44, but a fair bit are doing 35
Im nervous.
first key suggest, please tell me what i did wrong, also realize that votes mean nothing for whether or not it gets approved
This is definitely looking on the low side
It was fine when it was first suggested.
Edit: the sooner a conclusion is made the more accurate the price is
Buyers/sellers are higher now
Its here again, keys are still going up. Good suggest BTW.
Thanks, i really expected em to drop during halloween, but i guess the hype has died down before it started
well this was a good sugggestion but 40 might be a bit much
thats why im calling it the outlier, but its a sale nonetheless
sales @ 34.33 in snapshot. Mabey 34.33-34.44 could work?
Also sales at 40, but mode > median
Man dude, the evidence is clean and fine but, keys have been flying up since I first started playing.
Always have, always will, nobody can stop it
Your suggestions qualifies, but please consider the fact that if the keys go up higher, it may make it about 25% of traders hard to trade,
It will make trades involving ref harder, not many low tier traders like this, but nothing we can do to stop it
Although I i admire all the effort and time put into this viewing, it sadly isn't true. Keys are still dropping on Steam and Scrap.tf. If backpack.tf keeps increasing the price, the sale of keys here are going to drop dramatically. If I had to price them, they'd stay the same, but with a much more room for values, probably ranging from 33.33 - 34.33 refined.
Not bad, really impressed for a first suggestion, but sadly, I don't see that increasing it is beneficial for the economy.
In fact, this website is the whole reason why key prices inflated in the first place! The best thing we can do is stop falling for the bots trying to make money and see keys for their actual value. Right now, it's what it is, but in time, it can become less. So as much as I support new users and voters like yourself, I cannot support this slaughter of prices.
key prices haven't been 'inflated' though? what's happening is that the price of refined is steadily dropping, and has been dropping for years now. there just aren't enough ref sinks in the game to prevent inflation. that's what's causing the value of keys in terms of ref to change. the key to USD ratio has been pretty stable for ages.
As for the suggestion itself, the evidence here is solid, although I think a range is generally more useful than a fixed price when it comes to a currency item like keys. 34.33-34.44 might be a better choice, maybe even wider than that (on the high end). I haven't been able to find anywhere selling for below 34 ref at all and most places below 34.33 are sold out within minutes.
34.33 are selling out fast because they are lower than the average price, Im not changing the economy, the economy is changing and i'm documenting it.
And do you really believe that the supply/demand for keys would be different without backpack.tf
Edit: A few days after this sugg went up, sales at 34.33 have gone down a lot
What sales at 33.33?
Also again blaming backpack.tf for the supply/demand of ref and keys
Your language seems quite hostile here, forgive me if I'm wrong.
All I am saying is that the use of bots greatly changes the marketing value. Even if it seems to be the price as listed, bot sales should not be counted since they move with the economy and change the overall curve of supply and demand greatly. So people see X amount of bots selling higher than anyone else, they will generally assume that the price seems fair.
And it's fine. Sometimes people just get invested in an online market that fluctuates so dramatically at times, and EVERYONE thinks they own a master's degree in economics. People can sell keys for 20 ref if they choose, and people can buy keys for 50 ref if they choose. It's only a suggestion here, but people treat it as a living trading gospel and that's what I dislike about this site.
Thank you for leading this long statement, go enjoy a classic Disney movie now and have a good night/day.
Buyers @ 34.66 now. 34.44 flat is low now
This suggest was made 2 days ago when 34.44 was average, i guess people just saw it and stopped selling
people are now selling around 34.77 - 35 ref now
The problem with key suggestions is that if you set it low, they rise higher by the time it gets accepted, if you set it high, they close it immediatly.
People are selling about 34.
Why you sharks so greeding about rising key prices?
I agree with that. Makes me sick
Sharks with 2 keys.... Also a mod would close this if there was no proof
Edit: calling people sharkers because your 2 key suggests to lower it with no proof were canceled does not make you look edgier
Resugg at 34.44, seems to be the mean/median/mode
