Again, the buyer at 2.77 ref counters the 2.66-ref low value.
so you're saying 2.77 flat would be better?
Yeah, it probably would.
The buyer @ 2.77 doesn't counter sales at 2.66. Because he has had his buy order up at the time of those sales, people prefer bots over getting 1 extra scrap. Also there is a sale @ 2.77 so this should be fine; unless there is a new sale @ 2.88. Then a range of 2.66 - 2.88 should be made.
You probably mean 2.66, not 2.77. But yeah, you are probably right.
I don’t really know what to do when there are sellers or buyers slightly outside your proposed range.
Many people have told me that if there is a buyer at a higher price than the low value, I can’t use the low value in my suggestion.

You need proof of at least one sale to suggest a price range.
Please read the rules and guidelines for price suggestions for non-Unusual items: https://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/36705-rules-for-non-unusual-suggestions
but i have a sale...
You also need a sale at 2.66 ref as proof for the low value in this price range.
There’s a bot buyer at 2.77 ref, which counters the 2.66-ref low value.
oh ok didnt know i need a sale for that as well, https://gyazo.com/cea1602f28cc8470fd3349a9e907aebf

I wrote a forum post a while ago about this, but I haven’t really gotten any replies that helped me come to a conclusion: https://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/65653-sellers-below-suggested-price
The reason I was wondering this is that I faced this dilemma myself: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/5a766c6bcf6c7541896ea442
(By the way, Moose edited his comment. It said “2.77 doesn’t counter sales at 2.77.”)
