The problem with waiting for sales on that particular hat is that waiting will be for quite a while most likely. With 5+ other sellers of the non strange variety at a much cheaper price, I definitely think we’d be waiting for a month+ at the very very least. The fact that Jay’s been selling his muffs for 2-3 months with no luck within the 600-700k range is very much usable proof. It’s only obvious that this hat needs a drop.

Jay offered this on my Sunbeams War Pig (Currently being suggested at ~560) on top of up to 60 in mixed/unusual adds as well. Might be useful when determining the validity of this suggestion. Hope this helps!

I have multiple people telling me you've been trying to sell this thing on trade servers for way more than 2 days. Just look at the history of the hat, you've been trading it to the marketplace bot back and forth for weeks.

You mean just loafer? I've only been selling it at 600 for 2 days, the other times ive been selling it for 650-700. Also loafer hates me for some reason so I wouldn't been surprised. I haven't even been on trade servers recently other then today when I met you. Today was the first day in a week i'd launched tf2.

The problem with this suggestion is that this is basing on a trade that looks like an "unsold" from tf2outpost and not classifieds, however he can keep his outpost trade open also can edit the trade. Thus could possibly conclude he may have edited his post days ago, saying he is quickselling it.

For now i'm staying neutral.

Yeah, he used my outpost trade as proof I've been selling it for 600 for ages, but it literally said 650 before and then 1000 before that. I just edited instead of making new trades.

This is in dire need of a drop, but I’m not sure this will cut it. I’ll upvote for now but hopefully new sales for a suggestion comes up

The way the comments in this suggestion are directed make me think there are anterior motives...

Look, I think that this hat is overpriced, but that doesn’t make this suggestion valid. You can’t just price drop after a seller at a certain price has only been there 2 days. Wait for the seller to mature appropriately, then make this suggestion. From what I’ve read in the proof, this drop does not seem warranted at the current time.

Update: One seller has now dropped to 500 for 2 days now.

The seller has removed his price and has clearly changed his price over the course of time.

While it may be clear that the current value on this hat is too high as shown by these listings, it seems like we just have to wait for this to sell before it can be updated.
