I would have guessed 80 would be considered a quicksell. At the time i bought it. Both buyers were asking around 120 keys or so before one sent me a trade on my buy order.

Please provide proof for that or your words won't actually mean anything. Thank you.

If you are asking for proof of both sellers looking for about 120 at the time one of them sold it to me. then I don't know how to prove that cause I didn't think of taking a screenshot.

wait, if the sellers were asking for 120 it doesnt matter. you said "Both buyers were asking around 120 keys"

I ment sellers. Sorry about the confusion. My only problem is the fact that the 2 sales are so far apart. This has a gap of over 50 keys and if it were priced only based on the 135 key sale. 80 keys is close to a 40% off quicksell.

"Both buyers were asking around 120 keys" != buyouts were 120. It shows that 80 is too low, but he has yet to give proof of that.

        3 days at 130.

          He sold for $260 cash.

I posted it on the community market on steam on on may 14th for $264.50 (I received $230) and it sold in 2 days, on May 16th. Screenshot of my market history:

That would seem to support the 135 key side of the price range basing the keys on $2. Also just noticed that the collector was probably the $600 sale on the SCM but that is by far an outlier even if it is.

Keys are not $2 on the scm, the sale is like 95 keys.

so you are counting them at $2.50 and only counting what he got after taxes? is that how it normally works? Not to mention it sold in 2 days which would still make it seem like it might be quicksell price even at that.

You count SCM sales with the SCM key prices. They were like 2.45 or something. He received ~95 keys and the guy paid ~107 keys.

So if that's a 100~ key sale and it only took 2 days. wouldn't that make it evident that 80 might be a bit too low. not to mention I bought it with a buy order when there were 2 for sale at 120~ keys. A fourth one was unboxed recently and if that one gets sold after it's tradeable, that sale could be used to price the hat at a smaller range hopefully.

At the same time, it seems that 135 flat would be over all other sellers at that time (since all were asking 120 as stated above). I would not be opposed to removing 80 from the range here since it seems to have sold to a buy order, but I would prefer a range here.

Keys seem to sell for $2.41 atm, so the sale would be 264/2.41 = ~110 keys. With a range of 110-135, the range would match with the sellers alluded to earlier

Buy orders are at 40 atm, however. Maybe Luigi's buy order was too high. Should I resuggest with the range you proposed? Because I don't think 80 is *so* bad.

Well, if at that time it sold to a buy order, the sale is almost guaranteed to be too low. Especially since other sales back up the fact that 80 seems to be low, it would be better to exclude it here.

It'd have been a different case if 5 or 6 would've sold to buy orders while it struggles to sell even just slightly above, but that's not the case here.

Given the data points available and the circumstances provided, I'd prefer 110-135 here

                                sure, resuggesting 👍
