Sticking to the facts, I had it listed for about 2 months, starting at around 400 keys and dropping it steadily to around 330 by the time someone offered 270 on it, and I took it. I didn't really receive any specific unusual offers I can recall, but I've been pretty adamant that I'm only interested in pure or cash since putting it up for sale and that tends to drive down the interested parties significantly.

On opinion, 270 might be low if a secret brown bomber can have a reasonable open suggestion for 350+, which isn't 1 of 1 and is probably a lower albeit similar price point.

Yeah sadly u can find many many good unusuals on marketplace for cheaper than their price, not because they are bad or not demanded, but because people need easy cash and marketplace is a great option. If people will start pricing unusuals based on marketplace unsolds or actual sales, many unusuals will easily drop though they obviously dont deserve it whatsoever, a good example will be a clean Burning Flames Pyromancer's Mask which has been for ages on marketplace for 500 dollars, which is under the current backpack.tf price, however i sold lately a Burning Pyromancer's for a GE Rack, Ghosts Rack and 50 keys ( all clean ) which is clearly way more, and other sellers on classifieds like TonyBarreta goy offered more thab 350 in items, as they told me. Marketplace sometimes is tricky, but either way any experienced trader can tell 270 keys for 1 of 1 Secret Muffs seems to be very low and incorrect, and i am not saying it because i currently own it ( i mean i do want to defend my unusual but i would say the same thing if someone else would own it, because it is clearly low).

I'm not an experienced trader tbh. But I do know a few things about suggestions. Since backpack.tf aims to get a representation of what an unusual will sell for pure, I think the suggestion is fine. If it takes time for an unusual to sell at 270 and doesn't sell at 400 or 330 keys then it should be noted that the current price isn't too accurate. If the sale is truly an outlier there should be more be more sales to support it. If there is something to prove that the unusual was quicksold or that the sale is an outlier I'd be ok with closing it. If you are an experienced trader and it is low I don't think there is a problem with you selling it for higher and countering this suggestion.

I did recieve an offer of at least 400 in downgrades, and i rejected it ( uploaded a picture of the offer in the comments ), maybe i could agree the current price isnt very accurate in fact i say it might be even quit low considering its a decent hat, and secret is usually among the leaders ( the sale around half year ago supports this ) but yeah 270 just feels absolutely wrong, if there is something that is better, is to re-price the muffs based on the GE KE sale, cause cash sales on marketplace sometimes not the best thing to rely on, eapecially not in this case.

Hats are really only worth what people will pay for them in cash, so when you say an unusual offer is "clearly way more" than a bunch of hats, that's only true if the cash value of the hats is accurate. Prices set by actual cash sales, and prices set by extrapolating from actual cash sales a few times over can quickly become difficult to compare. Given the two options, the former is always better if it's not a quicksell.

Nice effect and all-class, sure, but let's be honest, the rise of mp.tf is starting to reveal that the true cash value of hats isn't nearly as high as some bp prices would lead you to believe.

Hey, feels like a serious outlier compared to other rare muffs prices, and besides that i turned down 400+ key downgrade offer : https://imgur.com/a/fBh8ovu ( Ooze Mohawk around 240 +, smoking viewfinder 110 and a minimal wear unusual shotgun which i am pretty sure around 50 or more ( all clean )... 270 feels very low for 1 of 1 Secret Tough Muffs, as a guy who knows quit a bit about unusual prices and assessments, i can tell that pretty easily.

Idk how you get "400" out of that but I know I wouldn't even pay 270 keys for that offer. This suggestion looks fine otherwise until further sales.

What does it has to do with it ? the offer is around 400 in stuff but forget that, either way if 270 for this hat looks fine to you just based on a single marketplace sale, then i got no comment for you. If u make a proper suggestion for the KE u will probably find the muffs at the same current price or maybe even more, and we all know here that marketplace full cash sales sometimes may be problematic, so why being stubborn?

I don't think you looked at the ke suggestion. With the minis woifi provided it'd suggest the ke to be somewhere lower than 400 with 2 sales. the ke had an unsold at 680 dollars and had a sale close to 400. Full/pure sales are the most accurate representation of an item so it's not problematic at all. A single pure sale that isn't a quicksell and no other confirmable sales? Looks just fine to me really. I'm not being stubborn. It's being logical.
