Second try. This time rounding down instead of exact amount. Just got this beauty of a hat back from the same person I sold it to a couple of years ago. I sent him 400 USD via PayPal for it.
Here are screenshots of our chat, the PayPal transaction, and the trade: https://prnt.sc/kkzesb https://prnt.sc/kkzfe6 https://prnt.sc/kkzfx2 https://prnt.sc/kkzg87
Can confirm the trade. The Paypal transaction went smoothly (I did indeed receive exactly 400 USD), as did the Steam trading process of me sending him the Brainiac swiftly afterward.
400 usd would be 210 keys afaik, considering keys are like 1.9 bucks or whatever they are going for on marketplace.tf atm. 400/1.9 (price of keys on mp.tf) is like 210.
Unless something has changed, Paypal transactions are based off of Paypal key prices. And MP.tf sales are based off of MP.tf key prices.
I was just going off of what backpack.tf said 400 USD was in keys. Should I have gone off of marketplace.tf key prices instead?
If you guys agreed on a price for keys verbally then you can use that, otherwise you would use the going rate for keys via paypal (usually 1.8 usd) and divide 400 by that, 400/1.8=222.222222, which would round to 222 keys
Thanks for the clarification. No, we did not agree on a price in keys as the seller wanted actual money and not keys hence why I went off of BP.tf price.
My bad sorry, thought it was mp.tf, ur right
