i would agree with coco here.if the sale was 20 keys,why is it that we see 5 keys only in paci's inventory.maybe his inv isnt loading yet and is taking time.i'd say can everyone please stop making these comments now.either we stop making the comments and close this till we get verification.i really doubt a shark occurred
As you can see in the screenshot, he convinced paci that 20 keys was all the hat was worth. As for the other keys, he spent them or sold them or something, but that isn't really relevant

The only parts of the chat log the seller still has sadly. But it looks to me like he just tried to convince him that 20 was the best he could get for it
I understand good deals but in this case, the seller should have been aware of the realistic value of this item. Clearly, had the person been knowledgeable of the market they would know 20 keys is ridiculous. Chat logs should be provided by the buyer to defend himself, though you are right, this very well may be a trade ONLY if the seller agreed to it knowing full well of the contents of the trade. I really think bp.tf admins should make a firm stance on this matter because this is justifying their actions and basically promoting them to continue sharking. Someone should reach out to the original owner of the hat for confirmation.
There's already firm stance for this matter somewhere on forums. I asked the person who sold this and he had no clue about the value, the only thing the person said and could be counted as somewhat manipulative was "This is the most you will get for this" as shown in the screen shot.
It is not, -trust will be removed on request unless you an actual proof cause anything said by me isnt.

Woah. Didn’t wake up expecting to find this. Thanks Jozu for linking. If your curious why this sale was so ridiculously low (under buy order) it was because I was originally planning to purchase the unusual for pure keys as well as steam market credit. I’m looking for screenshots as well to vouch for this but it appears as though our conversation cuts off at exactly where Paci’s version (seller) ended. After literally an hour of negotiation, we finally reached some sort of agreement for a purchase. I sent out the offer for all the pure keys I had at the time, as it was very unclear how much the seller was asking for, and didn’t come up with any indication of the price he wanted. In short, yes, I took a very good deal, almost an insane deal (Posioned Shadows seems to be worth quite a lot) when I had the chance. As for the 140 listing, I did not list it right away as I thought I heard someone claim. I’m not sure where you found my unusual Joeg, but I’m guessing it was from my classifieds listings. I was planning to take a 2+ week break from bp.tf and steam as well, especially considering how my exams are taking place quite soon. Just in case, I listed everything in my bp (except my snowmann) for sale at a very high price, in case someone wanted to make an offer on it when I returned. I explicitly told the owner when buying his unusual that I had no intentions of reselling, and quite frankly I don’t. I listed it with every other unusual in my backpack that really isn’t for sale for a massively overinflated price. (Whirly warrior, Federal Casemaker, etc) As a final point I would like to make it clear that I honestly wasn’t aware of how expensive bat effects are, and still don’t really know. A quick search after having bought the unusual told me that the cheapest purple bat for medic was selling for a whopping 150 Keys, so I just rolled with that price. I had no intentions of blatantly scamming the seller (who is still on my list by the way) although I admit my actions suggest the complete opposite. I’m happy to re-discuss with the seller if he isn’t satisfied or feels ripped off, and the purple bat has been taken off classifieds and won’t be for sale again for a very long time.
The fact that this was bought UNDER buy order is probably a damning factor, if true, I don’t recall seeing ANY buy orders at the time, as this hat is rarely seen and not exactly popular. For those commenting how I went out of my way to find deals from inexperienced traders by abusing the bp.tf premium system, that simply isn’t true. My friend owns the sunbeams 1 of 1 for the toque, and after falling in love with the aesthetic of the hat, I was searching for a different 1 of 1 so that we could have an exclusive set of our own.
If anyone else wants me to provide any more info feel free to add me on steam, as I will probably be very inactive for the following few weeks and there’s a much higher chance I can get back to you sooner that way.
You know what you're doing, and saying, "I didnt know bats were worth that much", is a pretty pitiful excuse. I'm pretty sure even my aunt knows that the bat effects are very high tier. As for how I found it, I've known the seller for a long time. When I originally asked if his medic unusual was for sale, because I was of course interested, he said it wasn't for sale. So of course, when I saw it listed, I wondered what it sold for. But looking at some of your other purchases, you don't seem to be a stranger to paying very low prices for things. A 30 key scattergun for an orbiting fire crown of the old kingdom, 50 keys for a green bat slope scopers, once agin under buyers.
1. The sale was made before the 30 key price on the scattergun, and I was originally selling my scattergun for a similar price. Seller of the crown also wanted to be rid of it, and considering how the scattergun complements his scout loadout perfectly, he was more than happy to go through with the trade. Don’t see how the crown sale is under buy orders like you claim as well.
To be frank, this sort of thing happens all the time nowadays, most of the time it goes unnoticed. But the fact that you winge in the forums about what the prices people pay for unusuals, even though they are far more reasonable than you, it's just embarrassing

edit:im pretty sure we see the current owner very active on the bp.tf forums and i remembered how he hates sharkers.perhaps lets just wait for his response.he is currently online but probably away as his name states (2 days away).
