I'm not very knowledgeable on skins but I thought the war paints turned into the skins?
war paints do turn into skins, but there are some skins that are weapon specific like sand cannon rocket launcher or lightning rod shotgun
this one in particular is from a war paint but the war paint is worth more than the weapon because the war paint turns into anything while the weapon cant go back

You’re right, but the war paint and the weapon itself are different. Just the fact that they are different isn’t changing what price I already paid for the rocket launcher.
Actually the reason I bought the launcher instead of the war paint is so that I could price the rocket launcher in my backpack and not the war paint. I wouldn’t feel right having an unpriced item in my backpack so the price I paid is the price getting set. If another Strange Freedom Wrapped Rocket Launcher (Factory New) makes an appearance and sells for a different price, then the price deserves a change. But as it is now, war paint and weapon is different.
Well the issue issue, you bought the rocket launcher for about the same exact price as the warpaint, and the warpaint it self is worth more than the rocket launcher.., i get why you did it so it would be priced but I think there should be a % taken off since the warpaint is already applied just my thoughts on the matter.
Kind of a niche case here due to the whole paint-weapon situation.
Seeing how the weapon apparently had added value compared to the paint for the buyer, I suppose this works. We're currently working on how we're going to handle these things in the future, to see if we can improve the way we handle these things.
