I fail to see how the 0.11 purchases get rid of the 0.22 sales.

We are after the most common trade points for items. It goes without saying that some people can sell items for more or less than bp.tf prices. That does not mean that every single sale by every single person needs to be included in the bp.tf listed price if there is a clear most common trade point.
