sales are 500 - 350~ - 991

calling 350 low and taking ranged 500-990 since 500 was all pure, unless other sales can show an outlie

No good reasoning for calling 350 low here. If anything, 350-500 seems more reasonable

In all likeliness, it's the normal key that generates the issue here. That sold to a normal item collector apparently, for much more than anyone else would pay for it.

I think that's what causes the pullover to be that high and in turn makes the high end here far too high.

would it be best then to go back to 350-500 like j58 suggested or would 500 flat be more reliable?

At the time, I felt like both hats were best left unpriced. I still feel the same.

I am hesistant as it is about the normal key sale to price that, and even more so on using that anywhere else, especially given the particular situation we are in here.

Would it be okay to price the key then and leaving the hats alone for now until there’s more sales?

I'm kinda divided on that, since on that key too, it shows that the other sale is far lower (be it less clearly).

That said, I see no reason to force the suggestion there if even the collector himself prefers to have it unpriced (see comment on the closed suggestion). It usually does not matter if someone wants their items priced or not because we are here to provide market insight, but in these niche situations I feel they may play a role. Analogous to how we allow seemingly/clearly low suggested values if the buyer himself prefers a low price over no price on items that are unlikely to get more sales, so too can I see a case being made for preferring to leave something unpriced instead of pricing it seemingly/clearly too high.

Given that the situation on the key is tricky as it is, it may be best to leave that as well.
