Burning KE, price 2.0

New one got unboxed and scammed, but finally, after six weeks, seems to be back on a legitimate market with a sale to boot.

All sales not used here involved scammers/was scammed/was on bitskins.

there is no sale history in bitskins is there? why can the duped TC bitskin sale be used to mini but not the KE sale from Ajax (he isnt a marked scammer)?

also, can mannco store sales be used in suggestions?

No sale happened on mannco for the burning ke, despite it being deposited there. I didn’t use bitskins in this suggestion for proof.

Ajax isn't a scammer, he was banned for trading with scammers, so their sale/s can be used.

Also, the TC has been resold, so you will need a range for it.

KE sold today jun 11 to buy orders for $1910 = ~1060 keys

Two buy orders were at that price, but one was removed after sellers dropped it down to $2k in the course of a day

With the tc selling on bitskins at ~$3800 for 1+ month, I assume it won't sell for the relisting at $3677 that's been up for 1+ week.

If it does sell, that would make the TC 1844 - 2150/2200 and this suggestion ~1760 keys.

The Killer is an interesting hat, due to the ignorance of the users that have been lucky to come into contact with such a historically loved and adored hat, the price has rapidly dropped, now weather that was due to situations, due to the 1st drop in value, to 3300 keys, and thus the open suggestion to 1600 keys, I dont see the market being that terrible. BUT one can't ignore the sales, and even though the sales are, in all eyes low, and in all eyes peanuts compared to the actual value of the item, its what Backpack.tf stands for, reporting values on god tiers as they come, and if they deserve a higher evaluation then they will be changed to reflect the future sales.

I support this, I personally tried to buy 2 new Burning KE's from unboxers and was willing to go, as one would say "all in" on this legendary hat, and still would be, it really is dope to own, but so is many new hats, TF2 and by extension its market is forever changing and so its its player bases style.

Drop it to 1600, leave it for a bit, see what sales come of it, price it after 1-2 sales after the fact as a range and call it a day, I have little doubt this hat will raise back up into the 3k+ pure / 4k+ in items range.

Eh, 5 unboxed in the past year (maybe a tad bit more then a year) all owned by inexperienced traders, most sold for peanuts compared to current bp.tf values, cash or not, to a 13 year old, 1500$ now beats playing a market they dont know in a game they dont have any investment in to try to get more, when Im almost sure most people are telling them otherwise. Close Sugg and reprice after the 70%+ off sells then, or just accept this one, or none, wont change much once collectors / people of consequence owns em

Main goal is to vote yes or no, and explain that vote, arguing high or low, based on theses sales would be pointless, the sales could be 50$ it wouldn't change the fact its low for the item, and the current situation with unboxes effected it drastically over the past year, in any case, price it as is, and reevaluate after the future sales dwarf it, ez pz, not the first time I've sold something higher then bp.tf wont be the last XD

perhaps the drop is due to it going from a rare commodity to a 1/10 item? mass unboxing kills godtier statuses often, happened with most other firstgen allclasses

Happend with the scorching KE and semi with the Beams, no "trader" really unboxes, or at least not enough of them, 80% of unboxes (and that includes high and god tiers) get unboxed by noobs, who sell there items for peanuts on the dollar because they don't care, they want a new pc, skateboard or Xbox one, or whatever, move out, buy a car, they invested nothing in this game, get famous, and get a few grand its hard to turn down 2000 or the possibility to obtain that when the most you've ever had is 50-100$ in your whole life.

Maxx unboxes did, and ofc will effect price, on any item just about, but sales are really what change the price and value on this site, (the 2 are not the same) and on bp.tf sales matter, and the sales are the cause of the price drop, and the sales are low, because theses are exexperienced traders, convinced or not, its irrelevent to sell there items for cheepo, maybe they're 30 and have debt collectors after them, who knows. Its not an item that sells fast EVER, I've owned a few now, so to get cash fast, and they sure as hell have been, you need to go hella hella low, Im sure they're aware of that fact, because Im sure people have told them that to get a deal, and its the truth.
