https://backpack.tf/item/1947188479 - in and out of scrap several times within the last 3 months, indicating that the price was too high. I highly doubt this'll work with all that, given people were willing to sell to scrap for probably around a third of the suggested price here.

Yeah, I thought so as well. I'm just trying to make a suggestion on what I sold it for.

I've also considered that since it's being sold for a third it has something to do with what it looks like rather than the actual price. Nevertheless, I sold mine for this price. Plus the people that resold it to scrap only held onto it for 2 weeks at best and some instances for less than a week. I'm not too sure why they've given up in 2 weeks, but in my case I found a buyer and even sold it for more.

Congrats on the sale. Unfortunately, out of all the sales here, the 45 looks like the outlier. You bought it for far less. And the guy who bought it from you regretted it soon after and dumped for way less. I think you got lucky here.
