Suggestion: Collector's Lord Cockswain's Pith Helmet at 646 keys

Unfortunately, the prices you are valuing each item at is way off. You would have to go through each unusual and find a "mini", or basically, find sales that prove that the item is worth that much. Purple Energy Stash is more than 200 keys, there is a recent suggestion proving this

Because of #2 Pith Helm, it would be hard to determine a price on this.

The #2 pith helm can prob just be ignored if it doesnt have a mini since its such a small part of the trade, and this will prob not sell again, at least for a while

Hm, well like I said this is my first time doing one of these. If someone wants to make a new price suggestion with the information I provided that would be great. Both me and the buyer want to see it get priced so if you have any questions about the sale feel free to contact me. Also, I think the craft item price is negligible. I don't even think you can price craft # items on this site, can you?

Craft #s can’t be priced on here, but if there is a sale on it, a “mini” could be compiled to help put together a price on it. Unfortunately, as the last time that one was traded was 2 years ago, it won’t work out for this.

I would like to see this priced too, so I will see if I can find some evidence and such to give this a nicer price.

Actually I think this suggestion is more accurate. His pure b/o is effectively 646. He valued those hats at the values listed as a quick conversion to pure. Let me put it this way, if the seller offered 646 pure, the buyer would have taken it. You can't use minis like this generally, but you can when we know that they work as a functional pure buyout.

Having said that, I would put this at 650 to round and account for the craft numbered hat.

What he did with the hats after I sold them is up to him. I valued my hats not at non quicksell prices so I don't think it's fair to price them as such. Also the value of the pith is a whole lot more than 4 keys to us both.

I also don’t agree with what your stance is here. Yes the hats were quicksold upon receiving, but that’s not what the buyer paid. The buyer paid over 777 keys, as shown in my suggestion. Marketplace sales aren’t priced on what the seller receives, which is 90% of the payout because of the marketplace fee, they are based on the price the buyer paid.

All prices are supposed to reflect the pure values of hats, not what people pay in unusual values. Obviously, we can't only allow pure sales because most sales involve unusuals. However, when there are times that it is clear that the unusual value does not reflect the pure value of the item, then we can certainly make an effort to reflect that in our suggestions. In this case, it is clear the seller would have taken ~650 pure. So this hat is not worth 750+ in pure.

QB prices wouldn't really be fair to buyer of Coll.Pith just cause you decided to QS.

As mentioned PE Stash is in-date and worth more and(but) so is Scorching Eyewear with a recent mplc sale.

This needs more work, unless you agreed on 646 keys for Pith and it caps at that.

I didn't see this suggestion and I'm sure I have a couple of months to comment still, so I'll drop my two cents. I actually agree with polar here, this is the correct suggestion. Overpay in hard-to-sell/low-tier stuff is very common in offers on Collector's cosmetics, and generally the buyout caps it no matter how many of those items are thrown in. Upvoting this suggestion.
