According to item history, it’s gone back and forth between you and another user twice already.

We’ve traded it back and forth as we had a deal for the hat. He had finally paid up for the hat and now owns it in its entirety.

And what I bought it for is 4 months out of date

He's telling the truth, if you look at the histories at which they were traded back and forth, a data of equal value at which it was orriginally bought for was traded back and forth for just the sake of wearing it. I purchased the data officially from moon for 105 pure. The scatter that shows in the compare link was a gift from me to him. This compare link is accurate.
