I was looking for this hat for a while I offered on a few of the owners of this hat and I kept getting declined until I finally offered 80 pure on this hat.

This hat does not go for the low end anymore you're gonna be lucky if u get this hat under 70. Just making this suggestion to clear out the lower end a bit more.

I personally think this hat should be worth 75 - 80 keys.

Also keep in mind that the effect Frostbite is raising in demand.

I'd only assume that none of the current owners are going to give the hat away for less than what they paid for it so why don't we raise it?

I can also counter your suggestion of that by telling you that the baker in the 65 key suggestion is also increasing in value I found 2 baker owners and I offered 130 - 140 in items and both insta declined. I was interested in the Baker, Flipped trilby and this one It was very hard to get any of the owners to budge like i said above. I didn't really test the owners of the others with pure since I did not feel like going 100 pure on the baker or overpay more than 80 on the trilby.

Like I stated above Frostbite as an effect in general is raising in value it seems like.

Also to take the debate even further last 2 sales on marketplace.tf are 140$ and 149$. WIth current key prices on marketplace.tf that rounds up to 77 - 81 keys. So the hat is worth more than even my suggestion. and don't even get me started that u can find keys at a lower price than on marketplace.tf.

this hat has a cleaner history on marketplace.tf than the 100 key bakerboy so honestly the pricing is in simple terms just not accurate.

the baker boy was freshly updated to 100 at the time of the sale and given the sale is still in-date it should be used here as well.

65-80 would be more suitable here given the additional sales that have occurred which you have provided.

this would mean the $140 sale would fall into the range here. (that $149 sale is from a year and a half ago so that is clearly invalid.)

I can accept 65-80 but that's just a very messy range. also if you consider that the 65 suggestion was in mixed hats. Hats usually require 30% overpay if the traders had that in mind the trade was worth 85 pure for the baker boy and that was the median price before the 100 key update. 49 + the 36 keys meaning the traders in that trade looked at the frost bite fed as 70 keys to start with. 30% of 70 is 49

You can not use 65 pure in a mixed trade as 100% accurate information.

65-80 is a perfectly fine range.

not sure where you're pulling these random numbers from but you shouldn't be applying overpay or what you're saying as that hasn't been done for years on this site for price suggestions.

Like I was saying they paid 85 for the baker.

they had 30% off on the frostbite fedora making it 49 keys from 70 keys.

+ the 36 = 85 now do the math what was the old price of the baker before the update?

If you really need verified proof of that message the traders that did that trade.

That mixed trade should be treated as 70 for the fedora or as it doesnt exist.

Also in the previous suggestion the person used a trade from 2 months ago the baker was updated one month ago. if you want to use the previous suggestion and key price you should treat the fedora as 50 keys not 65. Due to the simple fact that at the time of this trade the baker was 85 keys.

You can take all of this with a grain of salt or ignorance but i'm done debating and i'll see where this suggestion goes from here I've said all i have to.

Basically the 100 key trade happened on the 20th the 100 key suggestion happened on the 18th. super late on the 18th probably was barely looked at til the 19th it was probably not even through moderation by the 20th so they still saw the old price. So the 100 key price on that trade is 100% invalid.

with all of this mixed information in the air like i've said that trade should be treated as non existant. or as 70 keys for the hat.

And if that trade isnt there. every single trade is 70 keys or above.
