Therefore, the only sale appears “invisible” in the histories of both traded items, but is a sale for $97 (97/1.83 -> 53 keys)

This price seems fair as the Gfetti war pig which is 4 years outdated was already 65 keys back then, so I belive it is safe to assume this is a genuine sale (non - quicksell) meaning this hat is worth 53 keys (rounded to 55 due to bp.tf rules).

You shouldn't be rounding 53 to 55 here, 53 flat will work just fine.

Also worth noting that scrap is selling for ~65 keys, which would support the drop here.

Based the 2 key roundup on the rule/reccomendation someone send me around 2 weeks ago that seems to have been OK so far.

The rules are:

nearest 0.05 for unusuals under 5 keys

nearest 0.5 keys for unusuals at 5-10 keys

nearest integer for unusuals at 10-100 keys

anything higher than 100 is a guideline, varying on value.

The "same day sales" is actually betting. Those are well known betters. Athough the valley forge sale seems genuine.

I generally dont mind the rounding all too much. This is definitely better than current here.
