Was listed @ 600 the day before and closer to 700 a few days before that.

Seems to have been dumped on mplc by swapgg when they discontinued tf2 support.

I was watching some hats on mplc very closely

When the seller suddenly dropped the price down, I knew I had to snatch it

Seems like it has been for sale for quite a while - the price may have been lowered, but if it dropped from 700 to 600 to 500, it seems like it has been there below current for a good while.

It may be outdated, but the second most recent sale (march) supports this drop. While it definitely isn't in-date anymore, it puts the magnitude of the drop into a more appropriate perspective.
