I mean I said I hadn't looked into it and that everything I said was based on the fact that the dapper was in-date (its really your job to check that dapper if you feel it is off :P our guidelines say it is in-date, if you think it is not, you'll have to make the case for that).

The way I see it the dapper sale can be treated one of two ways:

1) the dapper is used as in-date and valued as such in the suggestion, in which case the sale is ~140

2) There's a compelling case to prematurely consider the dapper outdated, in which case the dapper'd need to be updated or minied appropriately.

The intermediary way (utilized here) doesn't really work - you can't say 103 is clearly too low but still add it to the dapper range for the value here - you either make a case for the dapper - despite being priced 2 months ago - is already out of date and find ample proof to back up the claim and update/mini it, or you take it at its in-date value. Whichever of these approaches you want to pursue is up to you, but ultimately depends on whether or not there are other sales on it and if so, if they're usable. In either case, you'll need to do the research and/or argue which of these rationales for the dapper value you've used in the suggestion. I merely summarized what it would mean in terms of sales cancelling each other out, since there's a solid difference between someone buying for 150 in stuff reselling for 140 in stuff, and buying for 150 in stuff and selling for <100 in stuff (as the former can simply be based on a minor difference in personal appraisal, whereas the latter straight up clears up that 150 would be the outlier).

As a result, this can go one of two ways (numbered in accordance to the dapper values above):

1) The dapper sale'd be 140, bringing sales to 70, 75, 140, 150; 2 sales supporting each end, in which case the range could work (although the seller at 120 would still make the high end questionable, so it'd need time to see if 120'd manage to sell).

2) The dapper sale would end up sub-100 (at ~90) in which case 150 is the clear outlier, even if just based on the fact that it was resold so much lower.

In case 1) this'd be depending on the 120 seller - if he remains unsold I'd be hesistant to set the high end so high. If it sells it backs up the range. In case 2) Id see a conservative raise to 70-75 work for now.

Note that the above is just speculation regarding the dapper; one could also argue it's actually the HoC that needs checking (or both), since it may very well be that the hoc at 150 is on the high side. That'd give you an incentive to check the hoc for other sales.
