I don't think using marketplace sales for this is fair when apparently only a few people have access to list the crates. By this, I mean that there's a limited amount of these crates that are allowed to be in stock. I'm confident when I say that these would be going for $0.01 if the stock limit was not there.
That said, I'm not sure if any of the proof provided here is enough to establish a price for this either. The only proof here that validates 0.05 are a bunch of unbumped, and now unlisted sellers, which isn't exactly the best, and a few sales at 0.03-0.01, which are even lower than 0.05. The bunch of bot.tf sales at 0.33 are awkward too because, either they were the only viable option provided by bots, or they were bought with the intention of reselling on marketplace for more(which isn't consistent due to the aforementioned stock limit). Or both!
Which is lower than ANY of the sales provided here.
So in reality, this thing's price is all over the place. There's arguments that can be made for 0.33, 0.11(the current price), 0.05, and even 0.03-0.01. But I don't think any of these are solid enough to stand out on their own. I want to see more sales for this roll in over the next few days before I decide on a veredict, but the more likely scenario is that 0.05 is not going to be a common enough trading point to justify 0.05 flat, or even having 0.05 be part of the range.
tl;dr: This needs more proof at 0.05 than a few inactive sellers to justify it, when there's a plethora of sales outside of it that suggest otherwise, both lower and higher.
Might sound strange but I’m personally in favor of eliminating prices on items lower than one scrap due to instabilities across markets
Sounds more unique than strange to me.
Sorta like how we don't allow suggestions for cheap skins. Makes sense.
Yeah, agree with everything you said here. I reckon the only possible price points here are 0.05 or 0.01-0.05. 0.03 is a silly number and doesn't convey much. It can't be or go above 0.11 because of the unsolds.
Let me know what you think when the time comes and I'll modify this appropriately.
0.33 ain't happening and if you read Mindacos' statement above, the price mods are considering lowering the price even further.

Bro.
Surely at some point you realise that your suggested range is inaccurate....
also recent bot.tf sales https://puu.sh/F9AvW.png in the last 7 days 23 have been sold at 0.33, in the last 30 days 89 sold at 0.33 and 3 at 0.11, as of this post there are no sellers at 0.05, https://puu.sh/F9Ayu.png, your suggested price is incorrect and needs a range
I'm not saying this is accurate. I'm going to close it when the mods suggest a better range (which will not include 0.33).
Downvote. Needa a range.
And what do you propose that range be?
2 Weeks later, and the market still seems to be as discrepant as it was before. We have a few sales at 0.33, a few sales at 0.11(plus 6 more here, credits to blaze: https://imgur.com/a/xr3iOIr ), and the few sales at 0.01-0.03. Marketplace still seems to support 0.33(although interestingly, they have dropped from $0.05 to $0.04 and haven't recovered since), while SCM seems to support 0.01-0.03.
From an outsider's perspective some could suggest that the range would be 0.01-0.33. But let's be honest, that's just not happening. It's just not going to be an accurate representation of this crate's price. I've already made my thoughts on both of these ends in my previous comment.
The main issue I had with this suggestion is still there; there's little to no proof that supports 0.05 even being in any range. We have sales on both the low and high end for this(and even some down the middle), but none support 0.05 itself.
Since we don't have sales at 0.22 either, the only thing I can think about is to go with 0.11 flat, which funnily enough is it's current price.
So for the time being, I think this should be left outdated. I recommend being on the lookout for both sales at 0.05 and 0.22, since either could be used for a potential range in the future, which i'd support. Until that happens, let's keep this at 0.11 flat.
Hello I dont know how does it works can someone help?
Well bumped 8 day old seller: https://gyazo.com/ab51457fe7634b10267015fc9e4676d7
https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/5859;6;c103
Plenty of sales between $0.04 - $0.05
Putting It more around 1.00 - 1.22 Refined
It can't be 1 ref if there are sellers at 0.05 ref.
Tbh it should stay as it is since there only one seller at 0.05 ref. The rest are at 0.11ref
another one: https://i.gyazo.com/4dd11e5819742d535bec780dbe472cf2.png
cant have it at 0.11 if 0.05 doesn't sell
Sales at 0.11
https://puu.sh/F1U31.png
https://puu.sh/F1U3p.png
Recent Sale at 0.33 and no current sellers at 0.05
https://puu.sh/F2hG3.png
https://puu.sh/F2hDr.png
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198309612194
and we have a whole heap more than 2 sales @ 0.01.
your 0.11 and 0.33 are outliers. i'll wait until a mod responds here.
https://puu.sh/F2DLj.png Sales for bot.tf in the past 30 days
They're outliers. https://gyazo.com/24a5479c2293d5905f403721490b39fa two month old unsold.
And I'll just note that this 0.05 seller gave up: https://backpack.tf/item/5465244639
And this one took nine days to sell at 0.05, only to be bought by a mod and flogged onto mptf: https://backpack.tf/item/6636859778
https://gyazo.com/79e6bd914ff33c1d3eac53b1f4f10a0c
Two more 5 day old unsolds @ 0.11.
8 more sold at 0.33 recently

2 month unsold 0.11.
https://gyazo.com/03b79ff70a7929060247b1fd844f38f5
and this bot has like 50 bought https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198309612194
your sales still remain as outliers, sorry.

And if you're wondering how I got all my crates, I purchased them off of SCM for less than 1/10th of a penny each: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/466456657187176448/671400105059811368/unknown.png

another Five sales at 0.33 https://puu.sh/F75Vw.png https://puu.sh/F75VN.png https://puu.sh/F75ZV.png , banding on and disliking every comment i make to "hide" it doesnt change the fact that i have sales at a price that isnt your suggested one, those the facts bud
And the one you keep citing is extremely poorly bumped https://puu.sh/F769Y.png
bro.
Surely at some point you realise that unsolds at 0.05 counter 0.33...
Like come on man.
Also: https://backpack.tf/u/76561197994034714 successfully bought 2 103s for 0.01.
