I can confirm, as I'm the one that bought it. If you check my inventory, all of those hats remain, along with the Time Warp Topper. As Cary Stated, those hats were all collateral, as we did the trade early while I gathered the remaining keys. I paid 800 pure in total.

What you're counting was collateral the buyer gave me to hold onto while he finished paying me. I sold the Dapper for 800 keys pure, the buyer can confirm this as well.

yes they were. The first payment was 150, because he needed the keys for a hat he wanted. Then we decided to go a head and trade the topper, so I gave him 250 keys, along with all those hats as collateral. I then paid him roughly 100 keys per week until I'd paid the remaining 400 keys, and then he returned the collateral and the trade was complete.
