    Where is 69.....

The rationale behind not including a purchase from someone that resold much lower primarily holds when their purchase is a high outlier and their resale a low outlier. The point of it is to remove sales that are logically outliers.

Following the rationale does not make 69 a logical outlier as it does not concern a high one; it would imply it would probably not have sold as high as 69 if it wasn't for such an erratic buyer. In this case, even the "high" purchase of the two is below the rest, which means we've still dealt with a reliable party (the seller from that sale, as opposed to the buyer who can be perceived as providing unreliable datapoints due to him reselling for less) that had it listed below the suggested value. This is for instance comparable to situations where a hat that sold in bulk had a lower buyout than other data; normally the sale would not be used, but its still an indication that your other data may be high.

    Another parallel is this:

it's not the exact same situation, but most of the explanation provided there also holds here.

Additionally, the sale does not seem to be out of place when compared to other data points (both current and past; the 3 marketplace sales before that one are all at approximately the same value).

Because of this, I would include 69 here.

But erratic buyer could also suggest low outliers, not high only, right? In this case that unstable buyer (no proof of other buyers here being unstable) made 2 lower than other sales, which would mean they are best to be excluded. We should also check how quick the 69 sold, i suppose (i don't know if its possible since mp.tf).

Edit: https://backpack.tf/item/7584611715 - This one, right? So it sold in 9 days, hm, thats rather quick

I mean as I said, if the logic is "he pays much more than anyone else would and then resells to a buyer" (or something alike), then this is clearly not one of those cases as he did not pay much more than anyone else would. In that sense its comparable to the fact that a seller at 69 would imply this is high whereas a seller at 100 would not imply that this is low.

Ye, but 69 did sell in a timely manner

Even assuming it was never listed before it was put on mptf: I do not believe it to be necessary for me to explain to you that something selling in ~10 days is not automatically exempt from being used in a suggestion ;p

That alone doesn't make explaining necessary, yeah, however selling in ~10 days + the fact that the buyer was unstable is the thrive of my argument. HOWEVER, i did just realise it should also be looked at how long did the other sales take, which in this case isn't necessary for me, as the 2nd lowest sale here was mine and it took quite a while. 69-85 it is!
