I know, but guy found a lot of different prices from different time etc. I just show last sold price and source were from.
So what youre saying is he has more proof. Funny cause the more proof the better the suggestion is.
Usually last sold price is the actual, it will change from market needs or people's demands. But if you find couple different prices from different periods of time, it will be the AVERAGE price for me. My price is the same as from when the item was sold with its proof. If I am wrong, we should change the rules. Lets do AVERAGE price for all the items all the time.
Why would we change the rules if the rules are already how you wan't them to be; taking the AVERAGE price for all of the valid sales (which is automatic, the suggested range's median will be the new price of the suggested item).
can't pull a range from nowhere
I pull range from Marketplace.tf.
Usually Key cost 1.68 - 1.72 USD.
270 / 1.68 = 160.7
270 / 1.72 = 157
Pretty low range.
thats not how it works you only take 1 key price which is the day the item sold, anyway this 150++ key sale is definitely the outlier if you consider the other open suggestion
Ranges are for multiple sales. If you have sales at for example 45, 47 and 50, you can't suggest at a flat value of either 3, obviously. You have to include all datapoints, so you suggest at 45-50. However the sales you use to form a range have to also be valid, which there is a lot more to what makes a sale valid. No problem, new suggesters are very much appreciated and i try to help out as much as possible, being the experienced one. Its neat that you show interest and i hope you'll get the ropes soon! Maybe even consider making more suggestions in the future.
