The bp.tf listings are between 4.5 keys (5 keys for a painted one) for buyers and 6 keys for the lowest seller (see screenshots)
stn_trading buys at 4k and sells for 8k (see screenshots)
mp.tf sells for a bit more than 5.5 keys (see screenshots)
Taking the lowest selling price of all those and the highest buying price of all those gives us a price around 4.5-5.5 keys which seems coherent.
big yikes epic bruh moment
Looks like my collection is gonna stop growing, I am a sad boi :3
I'm not certain if I've got it
Need proof of sales, not the listings.
My values are in the interval, and considering the number of bots quickbuying at 4.5 the weak point is the high bar at 5.5 which may be too low. At least it can't be worse than the actual pricing at 2keys xD
You can also look at other examples of valid suggestions of others, these will help you alot.
I have sold one at exactly 5k yesterday evening, but I seem not to have the tools you guys have to show the history of a bp, I have only a few dates :(
If u sold one make a screenshot of ur trade history, then resuggest with valid sales
how long are the sales considered as valid for a suggestion? to see how many I can gather (I did not expect suggesting a price needed to sale plenty of them! That must be an horror for price suggesting on unusuals!) I added them to the post here : https://imgur.com/a/KH6lPHG , you will see 2 new screens taken from my trade offers history and from my inventory history. They are in french but it is transparent and there are pictures of the item ^^ Is it all perfect now?
all sales are in date within 3 months
So I added a screenshot of another sale I did of a skull for exactly 8 keys pure 2 weeks ago still on https://imgur.com/a/KH6lPHG
... showing that your suggested range isn't accurate
Not sure about which low-end to choose (with quickbuyers at 4.6), but anyway, that high-end can't exceed 5k (the sale at 8k is an outlier)
Ok, sorry, that should rather be 4-5 keys? I initially came with the idea to make the price suggestion a bit more accurate than what it was formerly (2keys) but it seems to be a huge mess down there to update any price :( Everyone seems to dislike what I say and I feel like I'm very bad at those things despite the fact that I try to bring as many proofs as possible, and it takes a lot of time :o I'll go back to my domain of expertise I guess guys :'-(
Current classified sellers at 4.77, this looks like it will be too high
Not quite sure if you provided sales at 4.5 and 5.5 either - you need proof that they have actually sold for those amounts
see the link where I gathered the sales proofs in most of the state of the qb prices : https://imgur.com/a/KH6lPHG including sales at 5 keys pure exactly.
sales at 5 =/= sales at 4.5 nor 5.5
I prefered to have an uncertainty interval so as to be more rigorous. According to all the clues I gathered it seems to be a legitimate interval.
bptf doesn't operate like that. if the sales are at 5, then the recorded price is 5. rounding is done, but not pulling ranges from nowhere
also doesn't address cashew's thing that the sellers indicate your suggested high end is too high. sellers are even lower now (below 4.5)
I totally agree that the price fell since the last time I recorded all these, but I couldn't guess all this. At the time I've done the screenshots you can see that the situation was far different with bots QBing at 4.6k and lowest sellers at 8k. For the range I must apologize, that's the first time I really tried to make a suggestion and I took my reflex of scientist to put ranges. I apologize I must say that I am just learning all what you say, I did not know it before and even if you kind of say it harshly I must thank you all for teaching me how to do price suggestions properly <3
you should close this. if you want to learn more about suggesting, I'd recommend voting more and taking a look at suggestions that are getting accepted
I fear, by voting, to share my ignorance and be dangerous for the community. In my mind there is not worse vote than the vote of someone who doesn't know how the things are supposed to be.

I don't know how is the % of voting? And I don't understand why so many people downvote my last message, it is as if they thought that voting for something one ignores is clever.
Price sugs don't actually get accepted by majority vote, votes only let the moderators who actually accept or deny these suggestions to see how the community feels about the price change. Withdrawing your vote won't change how the moderators accept/deny these suggestions.
^This is correct - you need sales at 4.5 and 5.5 to have a range of 4.5-5.5.

Um, suggestions need to be based of valid SALES, not how much bots are BUYING it, as the previous person said, I'd suggest looking at the rules of suggestions before you create a price suggestion: https://forums.backpack.tf/topic/6033-rules-for-unusual-price-suggestions/

Anyway you bought 7 here for a total of 29.5k https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198167286317#!/compare/1584144000/1584316800 making 4k each, making an average of 4.2k each.
Another 4.3k here https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198167286317#!/compare/1587340800/1587859200

that's false, this isn't an unusual or similar
Are the rules different in that case?
yes, the guides are different
linked the wrong rules, https://forums.backpack.tf/topic/36705-rules-for-non-unusual-suggestions/
