I just bought this hat for 50 keys pure. I feel like the hat is worth around 40 keys based on what the other effects are selling at + the suggestion from the last 2 days which I agree with.
However I paid extra because there are still only 3 in existence right now, it had a clean short history and it is all-class.
The green energy version is selling for 48 right now on bp, the purple energy is listed at 55 keys rn, scorching is listed at 100 keys rn.
Seems a reasonable purchase around 40 to 45 keys. Here is the screenshot of my purchase:

The previous seller sent me a screenshot of what he paid for the hat as well which was a professional Kritzkrieg with flames/emerald + 10 TF2 Keys. Attached: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/705106279445692457/713515260732244030/image0.png

The range I posted is my opinion based on what similar effects from teirs above and below are listed for, as well as just the difference between what the hat sold for previously and what I paid. Mostly just my opinion for what it's worth.
Heya my guy, u cant pull a range from what u think the price is around, only pull range from the sales that have occured
can't pull a range from your one sale
edit: looking at what "The previous seller sent me a screenshot of", you'd have to prove the kritzkrieg's value
Hello. I just added the sale from the person that I bought it from as well. He provided me of proof for what he paid for it before selling it to me.
I saw the edit you made, check the edit I made. also doesn't address where your range is from
I thought anyone could check that. Okay https://imgur.com/gallery/6dW96hA this has the historical data for that item.
I don't know why I am doing this. I was just trying to help others since there are so few of this particular hat.
Don't worry about it m8. Price suggestions can be difficult to make and the standards are pretty high. Thanks for making the suggestion :)
Perhaps you should have posted this in the comments of the other price suggestion that was made 2 days ago
Your right! I probably should have. The range is pretty much just just an educated guess. I voted for the other thread. Should I remove my suggestion or leave it? Not sure if I can do anything more with it now. I'll just leave this here and let someone post a better suggestion in the future. Also, thank you both for your help. If I ever post one again I will have a better idea of what's involved.
tbh, I don't consider myself very skilled either. In general terms, there is no guessing in price suggestions. I'll link Offline to your suggestion. If there's someone who knows what to do here, it's him. As for taking it down, I won't comment on that, that's your call :)
I mean when you think about it, any value is an opinion. basing it on prior sales is useful and effective but all values are based on rarity, supply and demand. It's all subjective. lol. yeah I totally agree with you. I'm just going to leave it up. If people want to use my sale info. I'm sure it will help someone out there. As for me I don't plan on selling the hat so there won't be as much new data. Anyway. Thanks again for the help.
I was advised to post the price of the kritzkrieg so I posted that too in the suggestion: https://imgur.com/gallery/6dW96hA
About $67.13 value. 10 keys are approximately $1.87 to $1.90 today on marketplace (and 51.88-52 refined on backpack).
I paid $94.97 on marketplace to get 50 keys to buy the hat. https://imgur.com/a/Pz0yLa4
the listed estimate in your bptf backpack for the kritzkrieg isn't considered proof, the estimate is pulled from current sellers on the SCM (which are not always indicative of actual value) so you should show sales to prove the value.
"any value is an opinion" -> yes, but on bptf we record sales that actually have taken place, speculating that an item is worth X (and suggesting at X) when the sale is at Y is not what we do here.
I'd recommend closing this, as it stands it won't pass. Give this a read https://forums.backpack.tf/topic/6033-rules-for-unusual-price-suggestions/ . Whether or not you resuggest is up to you of course
I did base it off sales. You guys are making my head spin.A person I know bought it for $86.00 and I bought it for $94.00. This seems simple to me. .Prices from backpack tf and and SCM, and Marketplace tf ARE the values as far as I know. You must know some other magical way to calculate a value. I used the data from backpack.tf which uses price suggestions, SCM/Marketplace etc. IS this not the best source for a price?
