last 8 MP.TF sales from March 2nd thru July 1st averaged @ $1.98 per key =7.8 keys

just bought one for 7.5 keys

top 5 buy orders average to 6.82

9 sales and 5 buy orders average out to 7.42...

any advice on creating more acceptable suggestions will be appreciated

You should post links to the relevant evidence you posted, you should divide the price with the median key price of the day of sale.

Also, you should round any item more than 1 key to the nearest .05 keys.

Bob said it in a pretty nice way, but it's not really advice, it's how price suggestions are made and there are rules.
