I don't see any reason to exclude 7 tbh, neither classies nor mp buyers counter here, and theres no proof it was sold to a mp buy order. I would go 7 - 11.5 here (rounding to nearest .5 since the mean is below 10)
Just found out that Sale 2 was auctioned, 7 - 11.5 seems like a yucky range. Also, Cashew told me that sale above 10 need to be rounded to the nearest whole number. What should i do now?
If 7 was an auction, im fine excluding it then.
Determining how to round can be tricky when the low-end falls below 10 and the high-end is above, but the way it works depends on the mid-point of the non-outlier sales. If we were to include 7, the low-end would be 7.07 and the high-end would be 11.61, mid-point is 9.34, and since its under 10, you would then round to the nearest .5, making it 7 - 11.5. In the case of excluding 7, you have the low-end of 8.87 and the high-end of 11.61, which would make the mid-point 10.24 - meaning that you should round to the nearest whole key.
This is fine, however if 7 was to be included you would need to round to the nearest .5.
