if youre using 70 for the launcher you need evidence of sales of it at that value.
Generally hesitant here as this is was priced very recently (accepted 2 weeks back) based on 2 sales at roughly the same value. The change here is not really needed and is fully depending on a very eccentric sale on that flies hat, which makes me believe that in reality, this sale indicates the very steep raise on the flies shako is not warranted.
why say that when the my buy of the flies shako is the only one in 2 years
it is not uncommon for people to make impulse purchases and then want something else shortly after. When this happens, the hat is usually used as huge overpay on the next item they buy, or dumped in bulk above other sales on the new item.
In these situations, the purchase is typically an outlier.
so selling a hat you buy in bulk over a month later counts as an impulse buy and then using it to buy something else later on invalidates the sale?
Paying 3x a hats current value and then dumping it in bulk shortly after typically indicates you are dealing with an outlier
but over a month later? I would not call that shortly after
In this context that's a fairly short time span. Usually when we see these sales, we're dealing with collectors that intend to keep the hat (for years, or sometimes forever). In most cases where it resells before the sale goes outdated, the sale ends up an outlier.
That is why I am hesitant to work with such sales; it is very unlikely that the person that just got it for the rocket will get anything even close to 47 for it.
Given the person who bought it seems to be a collector of some sort, id be surprised if they attempted to list it given that it seems moon actually added the person over 2 months prior to try and buy the rl.
Im not worried about this being an outlier for the rocket, Im worried that the shako sale at 47 was an outlier for the shako (which underwent a change that is crucial for this smaller change on an in-date item), and because of thát I doubt that this change is needed.
I saw that the shako has since been accepted even though I do not really agree with that, but my concern still stands.
regardless, this is less than a 5% change, so this should be closed (up to the moderator's discretion ofc), right?
So the 70 key sale used as a micro for the rl does not count as a sale?
Also the previous suggestion is indate but the sale in that suggestion is getting close to being outdated.
My bad, must've missed the rocket sale
[edit]
it seems like the 70 sale was traded back
Discussed this with the other moderators and my concern is seconded. We feel this change as a whole is pretty redundant given how recent this was priced and how small the induced change is, especially given the shako issue pointed out. It is very likely the new sale realistically just backs up the sales from the previous suggestion.
Closing as such.
