Only sales at 0.11 ref with successful buys at 0.11 ref too as well as buys at 0.05
I know you might say "It's still a craft weapon" but this weapon seems to have higher demand with success at 0.11 ref which is proven by successful buyers at 0.11 ref too
To add to this, no stock on STN and Scrap.tf (selling at 0.05) support a raise too
I also want to mention for any incoming comments that "still a craft weapon" is no longer a valid argument by itself anymore, as the Sticky Jumper has also seen a recent increase in price.
Since the sales for the Machina indicate that 0.11 ref is successful (buy orders too) I think it should be priced at 0.05-0.11 (no reason to exclude 0.05 since buys at that price still happen)
Just sell this gun for 0.40 ref
To add to this, no stock on STN and Scrap.tf (selling at 0.05) support a raise too
Hey, just a quick question, when do price suggestions close? as in is there a time limit or does it depend on admins or something?
They don't have a time limit but normally don't stay open longer than a month. the mods normally ask the suggester to close it or close it themselves if the suggester doesn't answer. They normally get accepted within a few hours to a few days if they're accurate but can stay open longer for more sales when needed
Lowkey off the record hope the Machina increases in value. It'd add more depth to those low tier traders out there. Also Machina Guy's hard work might pay off
Okey, there is this machina guy that is trying to collect till 1.000.000 (like he told me). So the reasoning for this price increase is flawed. If machina guy stops buying them they will drop to 0.05 again
he's been buying them for months now. a change of value is a change of value. you don't know much about the economy if you aint familiar with individuals who control the entire market of a single item
Hey man, im not saying that it should not change, but im just saying that 1 guy has/had the control of the market.
For all i care it may change, but the thing is that priced are going to drop once he is gonna stop buying it.
It is just a piece of information that i felt like adding to this conversation, they can do whatever they want with it :).
Anyways your comment is entirely correct!
just saying but bots have bought at 0.11 too, the bot.tf stats wouldn't show The Machina Guy's buys
This is true... I have nothing more to say
Oh shit it's a well done suggestion. Don't do this to me man I'll go bankrupt before I hit 1mil
you were the one who caused the inflation.
bro you legit caused the price increase lmao
Buyers at 0.33 now wtf is going on
Everything is as it should be.
lol
how to buy
Kind of weird that the prices went up but ok
Higher demand + lower supply = price raise
i get that but i cant get WHY people want to buy these
One of the reasons is The Machina Guy
Why is this suggestion still up its already proven that 1 retard is just buying all of them for no reason
Its still going to be sold at .05 ref even if its at .11 so why bother
but it's still a craft weapon
no longer an argument btw
Based on the ratio of Machina/Drop pool, there should, in theory, be 440 ish Machina drop every 30-70 minutes based on current average players, 13,000+ every day, almost 100,000 every week. Those who say "iTs No LoNgEr An ArGuMeNt" buys into the idea that as long as there is a sudden surge in price, we need to modify the rules to accommodate it. Anyone supporting the idea that this weapon should magically receive a sudden increase in listing prices ignores the fact that unless people keep stockpiling Machinas for some reason, the market will correct itself within a few weeks as hundreds of thousands of Machinas go into the drop pool. How bad a precedent would this set that you can manipulate any item's bp.tf price as long as you have a couple of hundreds of dollars. Sticky Jumpers already self-corrected, and so will the Machina.
This is flawed because not all of those are going to enter the market. A better indicator is the backpack supply graph because only potential trader backpacks are being loaded. From this you can see there's only ~2800/week (avg from last 3 weeks) potential ones being added to the market pool. If ref is .045 cents (since it's currently being sold at 5 cents) that's .005 cents per scrap which translates to $7 in raw metal value of machinas or $14 at 0.11/machina. This is a totally reasonable value that a single person could sustain, which they have been doing and is why this suggestion exists.
Not everyone sells their Machinas; some go to crafting, some get kept by whoever receives them, some even get deleted or used as sweets in a trade

The machina is unpriced? LOL, that's hilarious!!
scrap.tf is there?
I know this is too high and doesn't make it worth that but someone offered 0.44 for one of my machinas https://imgur.com/TDwiAXj
Machina guy is just a phase.
dont raise the price, thats what the machina man wants
it is clear that this should not be treated as a regular wep anymore since they sell extremely fast at a scrap, none for sale on scrap.tf, and none for sale on stn.tf. in addition to this, there are 100s of daily sales on marketplace compared to other weps that are in the 10s per day.

The rocket jumper is worth 0.11 ref, the BASE Jumper and Gas Passer are worth 0.05-0.11 too

There is one guy collecting 10,000 of these and paying 0.11
Not sure if he has them all yet.
These stats are Bot.tf sales, I don't think the ones The Machina Guy bought would be logged on here, just saying
https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/526;6 Logged sales up to $0.05 support a raise too (Won't include those because they're higher than sellers)
