The majority of recent sales for the cosmetic is around the $2 to $3 range. The approximate average of the recent sales as of July 21st (not the immensely high priced sales as they may have been spelled) is around $2.64. Marketplace has a 10% commission fee, so 2.64 - 0.26 = 2.38
Keys on Marketplace are being sold for around $1.88 to $1.90 as of right now.

The only sell order is for a spelled version of the cosmetic, so that isn't being taken into consideration for this suggestion.
I do hope this is sufficient evidence that this cosmetic is in dire need of an new estimated-price range.
$3.50-$4.00 sales on mp.tf in the last month . are you saying those have all been spelled ?
I did say majority, there were 3 sales that were $3.50-$4 as opposed to the 14 that were in the range I mentioned. Though if I were to include those into the average, then the average would be about $2.84. Minus the 10% would be 2.56. 2.56/1.89 = ~1.35 keys. While that is a big jump from 1.2 keys, there is still the steam market prices and buy orders to take into consideration.
needs a rise for sure. just don't know how relevant sales over a month old are, compared to current. seems there is a wide gap between scm and marketplace.
True, but there's a pretty noticeable price gap between the two for many other, if not most items.

The average of all buy listings on scm is ~$1.97. That roughly translates to 1.08 keys. While you are right about that countering the low end a bit, it is at least still in the range.
One sale in bot.tf supporting this price update, but I think the lower price should be 1 key instead since there was no sale at 0.9 keys in scm or marketplace.
