Difficult to see the exact trade in the history, but I am trying to find a way to upload a screenshot of the actual trade. If anyone can advise me as to how I should do that, it would be greatly appreciated.
With unusuals over 10 keys of value you must round to the nearest key. There are also more sales, for example on marketplace.tf: https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/30026;5;u61 And also atleast this history has a lot of more sales: https://backpack.tf/item/2783750584
Converted to keys, the Drill hat on marketplace.tf is selling for around 13.5 right?
I'm not talking about the seller but rather about the actual sales. There's 1 at 30$ and 1 at 40$. The sale at 30$ could be used but the sale at 40$ could probably be considered an outlier taking into consideration that there's been an unsold on classifieds at 20 keys for more than a month.
the $30 sale falls at the upper end of my recommended price change at appx. 16 keys. The reason I don't recommend a higher price, is a combination of the low bot orders and the low offers I received on this hat. Obviously I cannot prove that in my subjective experience this hat was difficult to sell, but difficult sales tend to be a trend of robo-hats. As you say, the $40 sale can rightly be treated as an outlier, as can the current sell order.
Marketplace.tf transactions could also be viewed as slightly inflated, at least with unusuals. The sales you quote, $30 and $40, give an appx. key value of 16-21, the latter value being one I have not found the hat to be sold for in quite some time.
"Marketplace.tf transactions could also be viewed as slightly inflated, at least with unusuals" -> pretty much baseless, but not something that is considered at all for unusuals anyways. The main concern by the original commenter was probably that you make no note of any of the mptf sales, which you're supposed to be accounting for and doing the math out for. But anyways, you didn't fix the rounding so the suggestion is dead as it stands
https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/30026;5;u61
$30 / $1.85 = 16.22 keys
$40 / $1.87 = 21.39 keys
$25.99 / $1.82 = 14.28 keys
As mentioned, the low-end should round to 13 flat. 2 month unsold means 21 is high here.
13 - 17 (no decimals) should work, once you have gotten a screenshot of the 17 sale. If you need help with that, let me know, but you should be able to go into you trade history and screenshot it.
bumping comment. This needs to be closed and resuggested at 13 - 17 keys
