I am suggesting this price range because out of the 3 that are in existence there are two people that are selling on marketplace.tf

One person is selling for 85 USD and the other is selling for 75 USD if we take the price of keys right now which is 1.79 USD

We get around 41 - 47 keys of course these numbers are rounded to not get absurd numbers

You need sales to initially price an item. The Riding hood example was a buyout drop, because the current bp price on that was war too high.

You can't use sellers to price an item if they didn't sell

This is untrue as the price of the Vivid Plamsa Dread Hiding Hood has change to 100 keys to 75 without any sales the only reason stating "at least 2 months unsold @75" and thus the price was changed without a sale

Well my point still stands an item was priced without a proven sale

But what if the seller changes the price to something lower or higher than your price range here? We still need to wait for it to sell. It won't take years anyways. It will eventually sell and when it does u can make a suggestion.

You can only price an item without proven sales if you're dropping the price, and even then you need to wait for the unsolds to mature. In the suggestion you referenced, the drop was accepted because a hat valued at 100 keys couldn't sell at 75 keys after being on the market for months. This method is also shown in the guide Vrakos linked

Marketplace.tf seller with a buyout of 40 keys already says this range is gonna be too high. At least wait till it sells
