although i am not sure where to find accurate sale stats i did have a succesful sale at 3.22 refined here's proof

and we do need a price for the item to be based of, also buy and sell listings are mostly around that price range

You need to make a price range equal to or higher than the current highest buy order, and equal to or lower than the lowest sell order (with exceptions and outlier listings sometimes).
For such a common item, you need proof from multiple sales. You can find them on Steam Community Market, Bot.tf, and Marketplace.tf sales.
so i need to convert the price from steam to refined and get the general idea of how much it's worth? the 2 last sites seem to be shutting down and also i don't know where in them i need to look for the item prices
mptf and SCM are generally recommended to not be used for regular items like this actually

here, I bought two off the seller at 3ref https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198047834595#!/compare/1604707200/1604966400 and dumped one on the 3.22 bot buyer and the other on the 3.11 bot buyer
Where does 3 ref come from?
from the average buy / sell orders before someone bought all 4 of the ones being sold for 3 refined
You can only use sales to price an item
there have been succesful purchases and sales at around that price, even one of the people commenting have also shown sales, and i also have shown one sale to a bot i've done at the day i made this suggestion
I ended up buying the other two from the seller at 3ref and again dumped them on the bot buying for 3.11ref
so 3.11-3.22 might be better if bots have been buying for 3.11
well he has been buying for 3 refined too, i'm covering most of the succesful purchases and sales

this was made 23 days ago and i still haven't gotten any notifications about it, besides its a 1 scrap differential it's not that big of a change, still may be but there were a good amount of sales at that price at the time
It was left open too long and is now outdated.
every buyer is now above the suggested price and as high as 3.55 ref
