Taking sales from SCM in the past week. Sales are no longer sorted by the most recent ones and are now grouped unlike my other suggestions because it'll just make the length of this suggestion and the process longer if I do :l
Item sales:
1 $1.18
1 $0.99
2 $0.93
1 $0.92
1 $0.90
5 $0.89
5 $0.88
1 $0.86
3 $0.85
3 $0.84
1 $0.83
5 $0.82
1 $0.81
3 $0.80
3 $0.77 = 0.36 keys
6 $0.76
2 $0.75
2 $0.74
4 $0.73
3 $0.71
4 $0.69 = 0.32 keys
1 $0.60
Dividing every sales by current key price at $2.10
Current highest buy and lowest sell orders at $0.66 and 57,68 pуб ($0.79) respectively.
You can't price suggest this based solely on SCM sales since backpack.tf uses SCM data anyway. You should include marketplace.tf ones too
Really? Because I did exactly this to price an unpriced strange cosmetic a few months ago.
I guess technically our rules do state that you should only use SCM sales as secondary proof or on items > 10 keys, but with the current key - ref ratio, most items will end up pretty inflated. Or in this case, because of the algorithm used to get the $ value from scm, the value listed is $1.39 when every recent sale has been much less.
But I would obviously prefer item sales or marketplace sales if available. In this case, there are a few on bot.tf and marketplace that are indeed worth looking into to see whether the range changes
the bot.tf sale at 20.77 ref falls into the range here and all the marketplace sales are high looking at classies as well as scm sellers. this has been really stable on scm as well with numerous more data points in comparison so it makes sense to use scm sales here which is what I told the suggester to do in the previous suggestion they made. the 14 ref bot.tf sale is being excluded due to buyers on scm around the 20 ref mark.
ack!

Omitting every sale under or above those ends, and I'm marking them as red in the item sales above.
Taking price from sales between buy and sell orders for a range of 19.88 - 22.33 refined (converted from keys).

accepting this since this is definitely a good enough representation of what this item has been selling for.
