This price is based on the average of sales of this past week on the steam marketplace due to mp.tf going down.

The past week of sales all add up to about 32 of them within a week with a total of ~531

Do 531/32 and you'll get somewhere around the number 17, and since keys are being sold for $2.16

Divide 17 by 2.16 and you should get ~ 7.87 keys.

you need to do the math separately for each sale by dividing the price by median key price of that day of sale.

Don't make an average, treat each sale as an individual value in order to make a range. Also you shouldn't rely on just Steam Community Market because we can't know which sales are for which effect

You should investigate item sales as well. Also, the SCM sales you are averaging are not for just the toxic terrors effect; they are for all square dance unusuals.
