2 sales in 8 months.

1st sale:

Strange Scorching Big Chief with halloween spell (66.5) + Misty Skull Sultan's Ceremonial (69) + Arcane Assistance Taunt: The Proletariat Posedown(9)

https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198194232722#!/compare/1609632000/1609891200

https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198074924284#!/compare/1609632000/1609718400

66.5 + 69 + 9 = 144.5 (rounding to 144)

Mini for Big Chief:

Sold on mp.tf for 115$

https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/309;5;u14;strange

Keys were 1.74$ that day.

115/1.74 = 66.09, rounding to 66.

Sold for 67 keys:

https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198148495750#!/compare/1609459200/1609545600

(66 + 67)/2 = 66.5

Mini for Proletariat Posedown:

3 sales in last month on mp.tf: 27$, 28$ , 27$.

https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/30616;5;u3039

in last 3 sales key price were: 2.24, 2.16, 2.1, so the prices were: 12.05 keys, 12,96 keys, 12,85 keys.

Can't find other fresh sales other then quicksells to bots.

Current sellers asking for 9 keys. 9 keys seems fair, considering sales on mp.tf.

2nd sale:

Sold for an anti-freeze fruit shoot (90).

https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198194232722#!/compare/1609891200/1609977600

Obvious quicksell here, considering the bots paying 84 keys for Juju, and the seller paid like 140+ in unusuals for it few days ago.

I guess he really likes apples.

In summary, to represent as accurate of prices as possible on bp.tf, sales from very unstable/inconsistent buyers/traders are unusable

i would not consider the fruit shoot to be a quicksell if it weren't duped. if it were clean you would most likely have to suggest at 90-144- a low sale does not equate to an outlier or a quicksell, one could argue 144 is high the same way 90 would be low. just something to keep in mind for future suggestions

Thanks, I'll try to do better next time.

This should probably be closed. 145 resold for much less, making both sales unusable. Looks like you're just cherry picking sales to price up your own hat here.

So, if some guy buys rare outdated hat, then gets tired of it and sells it for much less, both sales became unusable? I thought that's called a quicksell, considering the bots paying near that price. Seller knew he paid 145 for his hat, he knew that fruit shoot is 90 keys, and he still did it.

I would agree, that if fruit shoot was priced at 110-120 keys (even 100), both sales needs to be included. But 90 is like too close to bots, and I'm pretty sure many quickbuyers would do 90 for it, since you can't get any unusual bat below 100.

Yes, because how do you know the item is really worth 144 if he just dumps it for 90 keys shortly after? In this situation, it's not that the second sale is close to quickbuyers. It's simply the fact that they sold it for much less than what they paid for it.

And to make matters worse, I sold that Misty Skull Sultan to that user. They bought it for maybe 200+ from me. (I don't know what they were thinking)

So it's really like they paid 275+ for it and then dumped it for a grand total of 90 keys. This situation is seen in other suggestions, and unfortunately, the only option now is to close it.

          Some examples:

          https://backpack.tf/suggestion/5dd6f099d381726690484cba Paid 1000+, resold for 465

          https://backpack.tf/suggestion/5fb4862065ac834888273063 Bought for $889, resold for $700

          https://backpack.tf/suggestion/5c617c2544325a146216e96f Bought for 600, resold for $600

            Thanks, now I understand.

If this hat sells will sell again in 120-150 range, would the new suggestion be possible?

Yes, because now there would theoretically be three sales:

              145

90 (both unusable since they bought for high and sold it for very low)

              120-150

And then for the suggestion, you would only use the last sale with a flat price, whatever it totals up to.

Yes, but the point is if one the buyer at 145 resells for significantly lower shortly later, the 145 sale would not be an accurate representation of the item's price. Being close to bots is also not convincing evidence to show a sale is low.

Alright, I'll keep that in mind.
