The hat was bought for 125 keys and is the only recent sale for the last 1-2 years.

Yes, that would be fine if you could provide screenshot. All sales were 1-2 years old when I looked premium search, it still is. I couldn't fully understand. Screenshot can help us to understand.

It includes the date
Usually you should include the effect in a screenshot too but this should be fine since your compare link shows the 125 keys already, just asked for a screenshot since the histories didn't match up
Considering he is the one who bought the item I would assume he is aware of the price he paid for it. He also gave plenty of evidence in the compare link.
The history also matches up perfectly. If you check the last date the Hat was detected in the sellers inventory, it's identical to the last date that his Inventory was loaded (both May 21, 2020).
The compare link simply doesn't show the keys, because the sellers inventory was still private at the time, and it must of remained that way until the keys were already removed.
It's possible that the seller's backpack has been private or unloaded since the last time it was loaded, making the item history look weird

their compare says January 15 so I'm asking for a screenshot of the trade offer to make sure the keys match and it's in-date
The sale is clearly not outdated, the "Last seen" tab is almost useless in the history of the item. All that means is that was the last time the item was Detected in the inventory, there are plenty of ways to work around it (like making your inventory private as mentioned above).
The compare link clearly shows that 125 keys were removed the between 15th and 17th of January this year which correlates with the screenshot.
