53.33 is below current buyers but thx for providing more sales :)
Back to 60 ref we go!
why 60 and not 70?
Welp i don't want them to go to 30
don't worry mate, we're passed that
what about 100 ?
Why not 1000?
you will nead 10 years to buy a key
Lets hope that this one makes it through xd
they still seem stable
scrap tf buys them for 53.33 to price manipulate i am pretty sure they got over 1k keys on mp.tf aswell. Selling craft hats for 1.66 makes them enough profit to do this. i am not sure if we could trust scrap.tf anymore
I'll have to agree with you that one.
Up slightly to 53.44 now lol. If they are really trying to manipulate the prices its not working out for them, only 7 Keys in stock when I checked just now.
quicksell is also at the same price.
I take back what I said earlier, didn't actually do the match. 54 Ref at $0.04 Cents is $2.16 so yaaaa.. I can see the price manipulation
it's not price manipulation, just higher demand since bptf bots are buying at those price too and sites like STN.tf too
So if one bot site buys at x price, and its higher than other bot sites, then the other sites will match the higher buying price, thus inflating the price of keys. Buying with ref is pricier than buying with money right now, at ~54 Ref. So they profit from the extra ref in the trade, and then also the higher priced sale on marketplace. Considering there was a sharp increase in number of keys currently on the market the past few months, this would qualify as price manipulation in my mind. It's tough to say that the demand for keys is higher right now since the smissmiss event just ended (not requiring a mannco. key to open crates) and the number of keys increased by ~300K the past few months. So if the demand is higher idk who is buying them besides maybe bots buying off of each other. There just isn't an apparent reason for keys to be in such high demand atm and it doesn't justify ~54 Ref per key, in my opinion.
Also I am not disagreeing with the suggestion, just making a comment

when Marketplace.tf closed their program the mp keys did tank in price, it's around that time they shot up to 60+ ref, but they seemed to have dropped again, now they're going back up
Ya when marketplace closed their sellers program that definitely limited options to buy keys, but there just isn't really a reason for such a high price anymore. Dollar value is slowly decreasing yet Ref value is staying roughly the same. Think marketplace keys are down to $2.09 now? mannco is solidly between $1.82-1.86 for about a month. Until bot trading sites decide to finally drop their key buying/selling prices, keys are gonna be over an entire page of ref I guess
yeah when the keys on mp started stabilizing the key price in ref started dropping
I don't think supply and demand of keys makes their price, it's the demand of ref. New ref is always added to the game from random item drops, it's strange that it isn't 70 ref yet. Unusual circumstances have halted a lot of the rise in keys that used to be so commonplace, years ago the key nearly never went down and always steadily increased. If you wanna call this price manipulation, it's working against the big bot traders. The fact that they're rising now is due to the consequences of these unusual circumstances, whether it be mp.tf closing down or the smissmas update, are ending.
oh crap, page of buyers at 53.55 now
might have to change the range, my bot and other are buying at 53.66 now
Honestly the mods should accept this regardless. It's better than current by a long shot.
Yes, I agree. This price suggestion is still acceptable.
