weren't all the event keys supposed to turn into regular mannco supply crate keys after their events were over? (i.e. scorched)

They do, take a peek at Topsy's storage, he has a lot of them

They are functionally regular mann co keys, but this is more of a collector piece than anything else. Backpack.tf remembers those certain keys as what they used to be.
