Heavily out of date.
Sale 1: Sold for Pumpkin Party Semi-Tame Trapper's Hat (See my suggest on that here: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/60a0a84f0689400985309d95) (15k) + Surgeon's Squeezebox (1.18) + Rock Paper Scissors (.6897) + Fubar Fanfare (1) + Rancho Relaxo (.747) + Strange Vaccinator (.5517) = 19.1684k in approximate item value on 5/16/21
Sale 2: Bought for 13k pure on 5/8/21
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198199244659#!/compare/1620345600/1620432000
Recent Sale Avg: 19.1684 + 13 = 32.1684, /2 = 16.0842 or 16k flat
Recent Sale Range: 13-19k
Recent Sale Range Avg: 16k
(Recent Sale Average does not fully reflect suggestion price mainly because sale 1 is an outlier if all current price points are considered)
Only one other current listing (on bp.tf) at 23 keys, and B/Os start at 12.66 keys
Taking current listings into account (As of 5/16/21)
Sale 1 is a possible outlier but is included here due to the recent date
19.1684 + 13 + 13 + 23 + 12.66 + 14.5(x5) / 10 = 15.32684k or 15k flat
Current key price of 2$ flat on Marketplace
SCM has 5 sellers at $30.98(15.49k), $35.00(17.5k), $46.17(23.085k), $56.32(28.16k), $94.77(47.335k), due to the inflated prices I won't be including them in the full suggestion but here are the calculations so I have everything
15.49 + 17.5 + 23.085 + 28.16 + 47.335 / 5 = 26.314 keys, rounded to 26k avg
This is a resuggest, lack of existent proof for previous mini
Please let me know of any mistakes or errors in math or logic, still learning suggestions
as a general heads up: you do not have to give all values to 4 decimal places - it is fine to do so in your notes for the sake of rounding, but on the suggestion it hinders readability. As an example, on sale 1, it would have sufficed to list it as
"Sold for Pumpkin Party Semi-Tame Trapper's Hat (~15) + ~4 in sweets
[link]
~19 total"
That being said, a few issues here:
- The trappers hat was closed; seeing the suggestion there it would likely be a few keys lower.
- If a sale ends up being an outlier, you should not set the high end based on current sellers. You can cap sales at the buyout related to the sale itself (e.g. if a hat is listed at 30 keys and then sells for ~35 in items, you can cap that sale at 30), but you do not need to do this based on other sellers. In such a scenario you will either end up excluding the sale as an outlier, or it will be included at its actual value.
There are a few potential new sales that you could check out:
https://backpack.tf/item/9825802186
https://backpack.tf/item/10036160224
Marketplace has sold several for 28.99$ since, which could also be used:
https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/1115;5;u3005
These values can be divided by the key prices at the time the sales happened, which will give you:
May 18: 28.99$/2 = ~14
May 22: 28.99$/2 = ~14
Jun 1: 28.99$/2 = ~14
Jun 5: 28.99$/2 = ~14
Jun 14: 28.99$/1.9 = ~15
Jun 15: 28.99$/1.9 = ~15
Jun 25: 28.99$/1.85 = ~16
With that in mind, the range will likely end up 13-16 here.
Closing here on account of my earlier comment. Feel free to re-suggest.
