I Bought it for a Miami nights Vintage tyrolean and Miami nights Stout Shako
46+16= 62 keys
I have been suggested to go with 160 by multiple people who are experienced, so 160 keys it is.
Buy orders on BoA are over 60, even though one sold for 60, so the price assuming BoA is 60 would be incorrect, no?
(Image of BoA buy orders as of 25/5/21: https://i.gyazo.com/a4e8d07c75a2e24247dd584ec799b9be.png)
You also appear to be "Quickselling" the BoA "worth 60" for 70 keys, this doesn't line up very well, I think the evaluation of the BoA is heavily misjudged here
(Again, image: https://i.gyazo.com/c9abac61b53fbb20d0254100b5a7215e.png)
Buy orders for BoA used to be 59. something, and I'm quick selling a hat worth 50 keys for 70, because the buy orders are more than what the hat worth.
If the buy orders are 61, then surely the hat is worth 61, if people pay 61 for it that means its worth at least 61. I do not see your point. If the hat is worth 50, then youd be highballing it by selling it for 70, no? Also the evaluation me and the other person made valued the hat at more than 60, so suggesting 60 here is just plain wrong in all aspects I'd say.
I understand that saying "quick selling for 70 keys" Is the issue for you. But I took both buy orders and sellers into consideration.
I took the reference from sales of BoA and came to a conclusion that low-end is 59.35 and high-end is 62, and since I have been suggested to get a flat range, I had to take 60, you can see that in previous suggestion made by me on SBTWC Bone Dome.
Or you can suggest me what should be the price for a quick sell for this BoA.
I dont know, but certainly if buy orders are 61, just by logic alone, it has to be worth 65 at the very least, I dont see it being worth lets say 62 and buyers being at 61, it certainly has to be closer to 65 for sure, if not (and most likely) worth more than 65, I would say your evidence is inconclusive at best. And if its worth 60, like youre saying it is, then a quicksell would be at moreso 50, if it is worth 60, which it even isn't.
According to me it is worth 60+ just from buy orders alone. But I get it because you're talking about the backpack value of the hat.
Im not saying the current price is correct, but basing all values on buy orders is wrong, highest burning TC order is 2k keys, does it make it worth only 2k keys? Likely not lol
Exactly, Does 61 key buy order on BoA make It worth just 61 or 65? No.
Considering buyorders will always try to quickbuy, its worth a good bit more than 61, likely at least 65, so yes.
I just realized too, didnt you offer your chromatica california cap for my BoA + 2k? I declined that offer, and your cap literally has buy orders on 67 lmao, I even turned down 65 (and thatd be the quicksell price), if not from you, then from some other guy with the same hat.
Also when Marketplace sells keys for 2$, shouldnt your piece of math be 130/2.00? Using 2.2 seems weird to me here, you should be going off the same key price used on the same site since its lower, no?
I don't think I have offered on ur BoA for my Chromatica California cap, that would be a straight downgrade. I mean we are talking a 85 key hat for a 60 key hat+2k.
Coming to marketplace, if you're talking about BoA sales I took march 4 2021 sale and did "my piece of math" with 2.19$, which was the key price on march 4th 2021 on marketplace.
https://marketplace.tf/items/tf2/30066;5;u30 (March 4)
Odd though, cause the key price always lingers at 1.8-2 in my experience on sites like that, and if it wasnt you, I was literally offered your hat + 2k, dont have any screens as I dont screen everything though, and again, its not 60 keys when buy orders are above that lol
Last time i talked to you, buy orders for BoA are like 59 ish, and people would only quick buy only 0.5 - 1 key above in general, and for California cap someone actually offered me 80 keys, and since I'm offline i missed the offer and someone else sold it.
That's not how it usually works but alright, we're not getting anywhere with this. Just hope the 35 people who voted for this before I commented realized it wasn't a good suggestion, have a good one sir ^^
Understandable.
Also, I'm still yet to make a suggestion on BoA, in order to do that I'm advised to make suggestion on SBTWC Bone dome, since it has been used in a trade.
There is enough to justify using 60 here for the boa, considering the market at the time of the sale. Whether its 60 or 60-62 does not really matter in the bigger picture.
Evaluating the blizz boa now would not be realistic, as it is clear that it has undergone a market shift afterwards (buyers are much higher now, but they are not representative for the market in may).
Another interesting thing one could look at for pricing purposes is what the person receiving the BoA ended up selling it for:
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198120347528#!/compare/1622851200/1622937600 he sold it for 70 keys
The person that paid 70 there dumped it to a buy order again, implying that may have been too high at the time. An argument could be made to make the mini here 60-70 and the final price 165 for this, but the difference here is negligible and primarily based on a subjective call.
As a final note:
If every single sale of a hat happens at (or even slightly below) buyers values, it may also simply imply that buyers are high, and that everyone managing to sell these sells it at buyers value. Buyers can be the common trading point, and especially for a mini that's often a good solution in case of either a heavily shifting market, or where there is simply nothing else to go by.
