yes this is utterly meaningless

Don't see any reason to raise with buyers for such a niche and low existence item. Not only is there no need to make it updated, but the buyer listing valuation is likely too low anyway, Plenty of items have higher buyers than their aging bp prices (even unusuals like old 1/1 Co-pilots).
