Okay, so this suggestion required some research about how SCM sales are shown in order to handle this.
A few facts:
- Backpack.tf will show the tradable date in your timezone
- Going to the normal SCM page will show sales in your timezone (not relevant here but good to know)
- Using the pricehistory link such as what you have will show the same for everyone. I assume it is GMT under the hood.
Because the date on bp.tf is shown in your timezone, the date in the screenshot is actually Nov 10 in GMT. This means that it should appear on Nov 3 on the pricehistory link. Issue here is that there are two sales on Nov 3 in the price history link, so we don't know which one. TLDR: it is possibly one of the Nov 3 sales.
This will require a screenshot from the buyer in order to be used.
This suggestion is a case study in why everyone hates dealing with dates in programming
This was something I was curious about too - thanks for clearing that up!
Unfortunately the same buyer has ignored my requests for sales in the past, so unlikely they would disclose this one either. Looks like it would be a bit on the low side either way.
Closing this, but thanks for your help.
