We require the suggestion to contain the information, as a means to keep our suggestions readable and user-friendly. More info can be found in the rules section. You can edit it in until 1 hour after the suggestion has been posted.
For this time I will also allow you to post the extra info in the comments, but please keep it in mind for future reference.
Similarly, I would like to ask you to list the amount it sold for on the suggestion; aside from the item history (optional) and the compare link (necessary), add a line that says how many keys it sold for.
For example here:

Add a line saying "sold for 60 keys" (you dont need to change this one for now but in the future it will be appreciated).
I was in the middle of lowering all my stuff when someone else bought it.

13 NOV 12 AM = £491.35
13 NOV 12 AM = Keys = £1.51
£491.35 divided by £1.51 = 325

I can see why there are only about 5 people that actually make price suggestions as you leave them for months and then they become outdated so you have to re do it. From now on I'll only bother doing suggestions on items that I have bought.
Single-sale suggestions for new items are always left open to see if we get more data, as to ensure we do not price things based on outlier purchases.
Just take a look at the sales here; do the sales here look like this value is reliable? It obviously is not; ranges this big are almost never truly accurate. This is actually the absolute maximum range we would allow (high end 2x the low end), which is a last-resort solution on items that - based on the sales - should really not be priced, but for which we provide a makeshift solution to accomodate collectors and the like. Before we allow such extremes, we want to be as sure as possible that there is no more accurate representation. This is why we leave suggestions like these open for a longer period of time.
Also your statement is false - when something becomes outdated on a suggestion while we are waiting, we grant leniency towards the 3 month threshold - if the suggestion ends up being fine as it is, we still accept. If there is a resuggest value that would have been fine at the time it was first suggested, we still accept them even if the oldest sales are now outdated, to combat the exact issue you are complaining about.
