1:1 w/ Power Surge Vive La France (120, https://backpack.tf/suggestion/6270074d45e1af7aa074fdfc)
I'm inclined to exclude the Vive sale here for several reasons. The only other sale on the Vive happened before the 1:1, and was for 120 pure. So the Vive went -> 120 -> Noble, which using both sales here would average out at 80. This would imply the Vive was dumped after the 120 sale, meaning that sale shouldn't be used. Choosing to use this sale on the Vive would lead to the same problem. Hence, I think it would be best to consider the 1:1 an outlier sale in this case.
A bit of circumstantial supporting evidence is the listed Electrostatic Vive La France, which has been unsold at 76 keys for at least 2 months https://backpack.tf/stats/Unusual/Vive%20La%20France/Tradable/Craftable/67 https://gyazo.com/d85eb71fab5e18f71cd781bb6de843c6 https://backpack.tf/item/2799031017
implying 120 is probably high for the Vive in the first place. Pricing the Vive at 60 instead could be considered if this passes.
The pure sale alone in this case is probably a better representation of value.
Going with 60 flat.
Yeah i have no clue why that trade was made.
Guy probably just wanted Flaming Lanterns.
These lower tier robo effects always had some pretty weird sales, huh?
Not sure myself, really. I guess he really is Schizophrenic as his name may imply
lantern > arcana
;)
A bit of a weird situation. I am just wondering, would the sales at 120 on the Vive and 60 on the Lantern not cancel each other out, that is, why would 120 be marked as an outlier as too high, rather than 60 as an outlier as low?
The reason I would class the 120 sale as high, was since the Vive sold for the noble after selling for 120 before. So at best, we could suppose both Vive and noble are 120, at worst the noble is worth 60, implying the Vive could have resold for half of what it sold for for before. The evidence in this case weighs in favor of taking the low value rather than a higher one.
