These things rarely sell. When they do sell, they go for around 30-60$ usd. I think my suggested price reflects that. https://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Collector%27s%20Overdose Many buy orders fall within my range. This is basically the only source I have. As I said, nobody really buys these things. If you look at backpack.tf buy/sell orders, I went a little in between those.
You need proof links

Not how it works man, you need to find all applicable sales and make a range off that. Simply using SCM buy orders and "they usually sell for this" isn't valid enough.
Look, I don't know what to tell you. Get it deleted for all I care. You can't find set-in-stone prices for items that are never traded. I'm no genius, but I can tell you this item isnt worth 7 keys.
We can tell your not a genius lol, no one is arguing against it. "You can't find set-in-stone prices for items that are never traded." thank you, you said it. You either find valid sales and range a new price of that, or you leave it unpriced.
My point can be put simply like this: if a majority of people are willing to pay more than 7 keys for something, that item is not worth 7 keys. That item is worth more than 7 keys. I understand these rules exist for a reason, but my point should be clear if any human with eyes looks at this item.
back in the old days you could post a price suggestion and say no comment and it get accepted
i also agree that simply making a price more accurate at a glance is better
so people dont shark and say hey buddy can i buy X from you
shows bp price of 10 keys
ends up having buy orders 80+ keys
while the suggested price is much more accurate, bp.tf suggestions need proof of sales in order to be accepted. most of the time this is done by providing a bp compare link, e.g. https://backpack.tf/item/9417574589 selling for 27 - seller's end: https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561199032721186#!/compare/1656201600/1656288000
I appreciate you not coming in guns blazing on a newcomer to this whole suggestion thing. Now, is that link you provided viable to use in the suggestion description?
You need sales to price an item. Closing.
