Same comment as before. Buy order is not a sale.

Following only sale history is why most unusuals were last updated 4 years ago, follow logic over the rules

*sigh* if bots offer more than the current bp.tf value the price should logically go up, as a player will be more willing to offer higher than the bots should they want the unusual. This is basic logic, some unusuals were last priced like 4 years ago.

And they should stay that way. You can base your listing price as higher than the bot buy orders, but again, it isnt a sale. There are reasons why its like this. One being, if sales were based off buy orders, price mods would have about 1000x more suggestions to look at than they already do. And there are suggestions currently up that have been up for 3-4 months. Can you imagine how long some suggestions would be up if we based everything off of buy orders?

It's based off of the bot buy orders, not the sale orders. The fact is, if bots offer more than the current bp.tf value, and an unusual owner wishes to sell his unusual, if a player does not up the bid of the bot, then the seller will simply sell it to the bot. Remember prices are dictated by the sellers however highest buy orders can influence the price. This is common sense, there's no validity in bp.tf prices if they are lower than all buy and sell orders.

YES the prices are outdated, I get that. But you CANT up a price based off of the buy/sell orders. There has to be a SALE. lol. It doesn't matter how much logic you put into it. Sure, it makes sense, but specifically you can not up a price this way.

So if you agree that my price listings are logical and makes sense, AND that bp.tf prices are outdated, then we either fix it or we can all just accept that bp.tf is an outdated site. Rather fix the prices with common logic than keep it as it is for some convenience sake

I agree with your logic, but not your rule following. Buy and sell orders fluctuate so much. In the time it takes for this suggestion to get looked at by a mod (if one isnt already on the way from someone contacting them about you) I can almost GUARANTEE you their buy/sell orders will change.

Yes and it's our responsibility to then update the prices with the buy/ sell orders, that's the whole point of suggesting prices

Go apply to be a price mod then. They're months behind. (dont please)
