Traded on July 15 22. It was in a trade with 15 keys + swirled snowflake + polar surprise + 380 USD through paypal. My item was a unusual pro fn hot stabbed to hell knife.

Mini for my fn hot stabbed to hell: I traded 100 keys pure + a MW hot pro stabbed to hell knife (Purchased for 164 in next mini)
Mini mini for mw hot stabbed to hell: 164 pure
This means that the FN stabbed to hell came out to 264. This was also the only sale in god knows how long for this knife, all other owners didnt want to sell to me either. I know a strange one sold recently but thats in the thousand range.

Now Helix (owner of revolver) wanted the hot stabbed to knife and we both agreed that the value of it in this trade would be 400 keys.
He agreed that the pricing of the sniper was 26 (https://backpack.tf/item/6556540733), the price of the iron bomber was 20 (https://backpack.tf/item/10228919744), 100 for the macaw revolver (https://backpack.tf/item/6385178119). These came out to 146 + 15 pure which results in 161 keys. He then sent me 380 in paypal with fees and whatever, resulting in almost 240 keys. this equals to 400 for the knife, and the rev was used as a mini as 100 keys

There are a few things wrong here which results in this being invalid:
- If your mini on the knife is 264, you cannot under any circumstances pick 400 as value for it. Even if you think the value is off, you either need to provide data at your other value, or not use the sale to price it (which of course you cannot do arbitrarily, but if its the only sale then not using it is the alternative).
- What you value items at in your trade is not really relevant - if that were the case, I could trade any item I want for something that doesnt sell often and say I valued it at 1000, which would allow me to value any hats I trade at 1000 too even though they are nothing near that value.
- A sale like this should not be used to price the revolver; an issue that becomes apparent from the different values taken: at your mini's value, the revolver would go in the negative. Whether that is because this sale is too high for the knife, or because the value of the knife is off cannot really be said with any certainty, and the difference in the higher priced item will cause huge discrepancies for lower priced items. A range of 264-400 for instance would be doable, but a range of -40 - 100 definitely isnt (even disregarding the obvious problem with the negative value).
All in all, this suggestion will not work unfortunately.
