I am a fishy man. What can I say, I love fish. One thing I do not love is 5 year old price suggestions that have not been updated to accommodate the current market and prices. As a fish connoisseur myself, I have observed the recent changes in the fish market. Collector's Holy Mackerels have become much more active recently across the markets, with more being listed and sold. The price of these fish has been ~70 keys. The current recommended price of the fine Collector's Holy Mackerel is a measly 5 keys. All I wish is to raise the price of the Collector's Holy Mackerel to the average price of many other collector's items, which is usually ~20-40 keys.
Collector's Holy Mackerels selling on the community market for an increasing price :
These are the most recent sources I could find. Many others being outdated from 2020 and before. Please help me restore the glory of the Holy Mackerel, and remember, vote fish.
Yeah you need sales in date in order to update this
You need IN DATE sales in order to do this. In date are sales that have happened within the last 3 months. Also, buy/sell orders cant be used as evidence. They can be an indicator that a raise is needed, or counter a suggested range, but cannot be used to support the suggested range itself.
Is evidence from August too far back to be considered?
August is in date. about as far back as you can go, actually.
You need sales
This is routine, a dude will link the bp.tf rules link in any second
I have read through the rules. There are sales from the community market, as well as the fact that there have been consistent buy orders much over the price of the current suggestion (5 Keys). Many of which being over 20 keys, which I have suggested
If there are sales from the community market, then you need to show them in your suggestion. Not by linking the page, but by typing each individual (in-date) sale converted to keys.
You have to also include sales from all other locations, like trades, bots, other cash sites, etc.
Oh, thank you. I am a bit new to this, I will update it
When you’ve done that, you need to use the data from all the sales you’ve gathered create a reasonable price range through the exact sale numbers, not a price range that was selected based on your opinion.
Read the suggestion rules for more info about how to do this.
I thought 25-30 was a good price range considering the sales and buy orders all floating around 30 keys. Do you think I should change that?
Yes, you need to use the exact sales. If you find three sales such as 38, 45, 50, then the range would be 38-50.
Also, the sales must be in-date and done within the last 3 months, which means all of the ones you provided from the community market CANNOT be used as evidence.
As it should be fishy, it is a fish. But yeah, this link doesn't help. Just a picture of a fish with keys next to it. No Price, key count, actual trade proof, dates, or really anything that would make this reliable. That's okay though
as mentioned by other users already, your price range should be coming from actual in-date sales
