The wording in the rules is kind of old/misleading. You've also ignored that part that tells you to not "blindly" use it without double checking things. Per mentions from mods (ex: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/643c9eb97bb00bd745044404 ) you must actually prove a value for keys for paypal trades.

As mentioned, you need to research the Key price at the time of the sale to ensure the backpack.tf price is actually accurate.
